Calling me insane, huh. Wow. You take this very personally.

I never predicted Henne would be starting by now. Find my post where I said that. Otherwise, I believe I am owed an apology.

The fact of the matter is you play fast and loose with the truth here. Everyone knows you are not posting manlove posts about Chad because the Jets are in a three way tie for first, as you lamely claimed. Let's just say that is of questionable accuracy.

It's comedy hour this week. If you're going to sit there and rant at me, telling me who I'm rooting for and why, then I think you are insane. You've stated over and over you have a problem with Chad being discussed in the NYJ forum, once again that is your problem, not ours. He was the QB here for 8 years, now he's in our division and tied with us for first at the moment, that makes him relevant to the Jets. That's what I said. If you can't distinguish that from who I'm rooting for, or other people here, that's your problem.

I didn't say anything about the SD game. I was referring to these 3 games in another thread, but I'll mention them again. NE, OAK and SEA were the 3 games off the top of my head that I SAW the WC have a huge impact on the outcome.

But, let's go back to the NE for more in-depth. I found it funny how in the REDZONE, the OC took the ball out of Chad's hands and gave it to Ronnie Brown. From Ronnie's 5 TD's on that game let's see where and how they made those plays.

Wildcat - Redzone - 2nd & Goal, Ronnie Brown runs it in. 7 points.
Conventional - Redzone - 3rd and 2, Ronnie Brown runs it in. 7 points.
Wildcat - Redzone - 1st & Goal, Ronnie Brown runs it in. 7points.
Wildcat - Redzone - 3rd & 3, Ronnie Brown throws a pass to Fasano. (This is after Chad had missed his last 3 throws) 7 points.
    Wildcat - @ NE 42 - 1st & 10, Ronnie Brown scores. 7 points.

Outcome Miami 38, NE 13. I'll lob you a few here. How many points did Ronnie Brown score out of Miami's total 38? and how many TD's did Chad throw for?

If you really don't think that the WC/Ronnie Brown combination didn't have as much influence in that game than Chad's contributions, then you are lying to yourself.

    pennington favre

pennington was 1-8 as a starter for us, most likely wasnt going to start this season if we kept him, favre has won us 8 games in a brand new system which actually does say something, he has passed for 20 touchdowns which chad has only done once in his career, we couldnt score last year so we got us a guy that could and he has done that, sure he throws picks but thats brett everyone knew he would do that, and if anyone says that they thought pennington would bring to life a dead franchise they are just lying, fact is maybe its coaching that made chad great cause he definatly isnt on a better team, stop pointing fingers at brett he has won 8 games as qb, we are in first, fans should look to the real problem which is sutton and the fact that he never blitzes to cause pressure and we dont have linebackers that can cover, they are big and physical we should start using it a little

Iasked what the point was of continuing to talk about Pennington here. I think for you it is a manlove thing, but - I am open to persuasion it is something else.

You laughingly responded it was part of looking at the Jets being in a three way tie. Heh! You lose. That was obviously not why you talk about Chadwick.

Guess we're back with the Brokeback theory.

Pennington is a DOLPHIN ... Last I checked there were plenty of EX JETS around the league, but we are not writing about most of them ... Chad's time in NY was DONE ... Lets just move on ... We have our quarterbacks, lets not worry about our EX PLAYERS

Well the thread isn't really about "blame". Its just about saying we did not upgrade the QB position this year. We tried but it did not happen and is in fact back firing.

Once again, you're not having a rational conversation, you'd rather make assumptions about me and try to tell me what I'm thinking. I didn't make this thread or any of the other Chad threads for that matter, look it up. You're in this thread as much as I am, by the way.

You asked me what the point of discussing him now is and I told you--at the moment we're tied with his team for first place and we play them in two weeks. Prior to that it was because he's playing in our division, prior to that he was our QB, that's why he is discussed here. That is the point, I'm not the one starting the discussions or the only one in them. Once again, if you want to bury your head in the sand and tell everyone to be a Dolphins that's your business, but you can stop telling me who I root for and calling me gay any time now--if you want to have an intelligent conversation, that is.

That's your opinion that we didn't upgrade. Many disagree. I doubt we beat a team like the Titans with Penny at QB and that's the type of defense you need to be able to beat to go deep into the playoffs.

Even though I think Favre is an upgrade, cutting Chad and him going to MIA has put us in a 3 team race when it would have been a 2 team race otherwise.

Wheres the upgrade? How many points did tenn score again?

Favre is getting paid twice the money to run a chad offense worse then chad would have.

With the extra 6 mil favre sucked up we could have made a bid for DeAngelo Hall. Now that would have been an upgrade.

That's what I'm saying, to me this is the problem with it. You just said it better and shorter than I did.

Nobody could have saw that coming. I think when the Jets acquired Favre, they did the noble thing in letting Chad go; I am not saying it was the right thing to do, but it had the most integrity given Chad's tenure and contribution to the team.

I really thought Chad would have gone to Minnesota, but I can see why Parcells picked up CP in a heart beat. Chad is smart, generally does not turn the ball over, manages a game pretty well and leads a clean life; While that won't get you to a Super Bowl it is a sure bet that you will get precisely what is in front of you, barring injury (true of most QBs).

Look, despite what you may think I did not mean for this to get personal. I just don't understand the point of Chad Fans such as yourself posting endlessly about him. Your assertion it is about the standings is laughable, though. You have never stopped posting about him, no matter the standings.

He's not a Jet. He won't be a Jet. He doesn't play for this week's opponent. He Qb's a team that is tied for first - just like Matt Cassel, about whom you post very little.

Now that we've cleared all that up...

I agree with this too. Can't fault the Jets for making the move but it has turned out to help a division foe a great deal, which offsets the upgrade we got for ourselves. Of course we can fix that by winning the last three games and beating Miami in Week 17, but that remains to be seen. The final verdict will likely come with that game.

It's hard for the other team to score when your offense is on the field for most of the game. The defense is obviously upgraded too. If you can't see the things Favre did at QB that game that Chad cannot then you'll never understand the upgrade. I can't help you see what many others do.

And no we couldn't get Hall, he was a Raider long before we got Favre.

Yeah, I think so; and, if it does and Chad beats us in our house given everything the Jets know about how to defend him; I will have convulsive fits.

lets put it this way, we could have got a more from Chad's play then we will get from Drob or Vilma.

But his royal highness wanted him gone before he arrived.

Just this past week Favre made a few passes Chad never made in his life, but facts don't mean much when it comes to Chad Fans.
