I have this feeling too. I guarentee that the game will be FLEXED to Sunday Night. Here is the DAGGER to Prove it will happen: Madden Gets his Brett Favre back!!!! Favre comes back another season and Madden doesn't get to call one of his games? Impossible! Dolphins-Jets Sunday December 28th at 8:15. Mark it down now.
I used to hate the 1 pm games, but now that I have kids and they wake me up early every day anyway, I like them better. Yesterday was warm and comfortable, we were cooking out at 10 am, warmest part of the day. Even the walk out was starting to get cold, that's just when the 4:15 games start. A night game would be brutal but I'll be there regardless. I have some days off to use up, I'm probably taking the 29th either way. Just no more pouring rain, please!
I can't wait, the Jets will hopefully beat the Seahawks, and then beat Miami, and get the division crown.
Oh man night games get me FIRED UP!!!! Especially when its a huge moment like this. i believe the last home night game was the final MNF on ABC. and the fact that it was the final MNF on ABC was the only thing important about it?
It would be awesome if the Jets game gets moved... because I think they play the same time as the Pats. Living in Vermont I am in the Pats area, but the Jets are on if they play at different times. I don't want to watch that game on Justin.tv, wayyyy to important.
That and Vinny ended up relieving Bollinger and setting the record for most consecutive years with a TD pass.
I hate to break it to you but it's a near certainty. The cowboys-eagles game is not an option because they both have used up their alloted number of primetime games for the season. (I'm also pretty sure that it has to be an AFC game)
Lets be honest folks. Pennington on the road at night in a freezing game with the division on the line, I like our chances. Really.

From SunSentinel.com today: According to an NBC spokesperson, the network's flex schedule will be decided by NFL officials after the conclusion of this weekend's games, and announced next Monday. Along with the Dec. 28th Dolphins-Jets showdown, which could decide the AFC East winner if both teams win this Sunday, Dallas playing at Philadelphia, and the Giants playing at Minnesota are also believed to be strong contender for NBC's Week 17 primetime game.
That's strange. I just heard on the radio that the Dallas-philly game has no chance of being chosen because BOTH the Cowboys and Eagles will have used up their allotted number of primetime games for this season. (5 each) I'm pretty sure this is true but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
