From Rotoworld. Seems like Spag is the top candidate at the moment.

No no no. This is all wrong. I'm telling you people as good of a job as Spags has done for the giants he's the wrong fit for this organization for many reasons.

It would be foolish to not even bring him in for an interview.

Spags runs a 4-3, that's all I can come up with MJ.

Yeah, I don't get it. After Cowher Shanny is the most logical choice. They must obviously know something we don't.

They said they would look under every stone. Well why not at least hear what Shanny has to say? What would he bring to the table?

Why would they be completely against hearing what the guy is all about?

Matty, do the Jets have the pass rushers the giants have to even carry out Spag's 4-3? No. Add to the fact he's another first time head coach taking over an organization that to me just needs someone that knows how it is to be a head coach in this league. Marty, Shanahan theres guys that know how to run an organization because theyve been through the wars before. I'm tired of first time head coachs learning on the job, this team has too much talent to hand over to a question mark. At least Rex would come here with the same 3-4 defense and while he'd be a first time head coach to me he'd be more prepared for a head coaching job because his father coached in this league for years and years. I know it sounds like a dumb argument to pull the family card but you can't tell me he didn't learn things from his father on how to prepare much like how Peyton and Eli learned from Arch.

Get Spags. Even if there is a transition period back to the 4-3 (which I think will not be as tough as some of you do) I am ok with that because I think he is a long term solution. I think he's a great coach.

We're going to end up with Mike Tice, and I'm going to spend Sundays next fall reading books about butter churning.

we dont have the talent to pressure the QB in a 3-4 either so that is a moot point. As far as Ryan and the family card, ewwwww, kinda weak dude.

So now it's down to Marty and Spags.

Not good. Not good at all.

This shouldn't surprise anyone, it is the Jets after all and they are proving themselves more inept by the hour now.

If they have fired Mangini (who I couldn't stand btw) to hire another rookie nobody should ever go to another game ever..or at least as long as this fool owns the team.

Yes we do. Pace was one of the most underutilized people towards the end of the year and at one point unbelievably this team led the league in sacks.

Yep, we're morons. Shanahan is just a brilliant 2 time SB winning offensive guru.

We'd BETTER end up with either him or Spagnuolo

Based on what? Being a good coordinator? You make the same mistake the Jets do.
