you know what. I want a coach that says holy makalendy. Black or white. Who cares. Every other answer in his press conference..."holy makalendy". It would be tremendous
I think Meeks is a good candidate...just not here. He's another "cover 2 guy".The last thing we need is another drastic change in defensive scheme.
Aside from the speed of their front 4 and Bob Sanders...the Colts D is nothing special....besides, they can't stop the run either. Meeks isn't worth hiring.....not even for the "holy Makelandy" routine.
Cover 2? Sounds interesting. We'd have 2 more guys covered than we do now.................................................HOLY MAKALENDY
Can there be a coach that is more inappropriate for the Jets defense than Meeks??? First, the Colt defense stinks and has stunk for years except for its miracle performance in the 2006 playoffs. Second, the defensive system is about as different as you can get from what the Jets currently run. Bad choice.
The Colts D was 6th against the pass (not bad at all)...but, they were 24th against the run. We were 29 against the pass and 7th against the run... Really nothing to shake a stick at.....he's no better than Bob Sutton.
Why is this whole Schott jr thing picking up more steam? Is he really going to be our next coach? Is this the young up and coming Coordinator I was hoping for? ummm no. WTF? Im really starting to think hes gonna get the job
stop thinking that way.... I'm hoping the Jets decided to give him and Callahan "courtesy interviews".....this team needs a new perspective, a "breath of fresh air" from a new coach. We don't need somebody that would implement a Pass first offense..as opposed to running the ball...when they're playing a team that's 30th against the run (Kansas City Chiefs). Holy Makelandy!
hopefully the Holy makalendy thing picks up more steam than the Schotty thing. I cant stop saying it in my living room
