Especially Favre. If I am not mistaken, the only way that all that money comes off the cap is if he retires.

Brilliant. Moore had his best year so we cut him and weaken the line again. Ellis maybe, Brett yes.

Again, how do we even get a maybe from Ellis?

Name me all the 34 Ends that had better season then Ellis did this past one.

First of all, I don't necessarily want to get rid of Ellis. I just pointed out that there may be better options, since he his getting on in years. But I like him, and I wouldn't mind him staying on the Jets.

With regard to TEs, they are not a dime a dozen. Baker is a good TE, and good TEs do not grow on trees. It's also not easy to draft good TEs. We Jets fans know that very well. Keller is the exception to that rule in a BIG WAY.

Bottom line, Baker is better than most TEs. He has good hands, he can catch most of what is thrown to him, he has developed a very good blocking game, and you just can't find free agent TEs who have those skills, and drafting one is much harder to do.

    ...hahahahaha. You fffu...

I think I speak for the entire board when I say we've had enough of you and your threads for at least this the remainder of this year. Please go back to the hole you crawled out of. I'm surprised you even knew about the Jets were gonna get a new coach and that his press conference was today.

Asomugha is my only free agent pick up that i covet. Revis has another 4 years on his contract, Rhodes is locked up for a long term, bring us Asomugha for 5-6 years and we will have the most impressive secondary in the NFL. Peppers can go wherever, cause i feel we have plenty of depth at olb'er

EDIT: Carlin was in the Air Force for some time.... unless he sold secrets to the Russians, he did serve the country.

    horrible suggestions.

Ellis lead the team in sacks at DE if u didnt notice. even though his age is getting up there hes the only quality player at DL aside from Jenkins. Coleman is solid not good not bad. hes only a yr younger than Ellis.

even funnier, cut Brandon Moore? i dont know what it is with this msg board. does everyone think every OL should have 5 pro bowlers. Moore was never horrible and is never great. all that means is hes not a great player. every great unit has that one player whos solid, nothing more, nothing less. and thats what moore is to our OL.

the only move that makes sense is getting rid of Favre, but cutting him would result in a cap penalty, considering he'll probably retire id consider the move premature.

    so yeah.......good post.

You serious? You think a our new head coach's severed head in the jaws of a t-rex is waaay better than a comedic legend? Think about that and let it sink for a while. I forced to believe I'm dealing with an emo 15 year old retard who unfortunately questions why his mom and dad are also his aunt and uncle.
