re fav play. i still like the two TD passes to beat MIA in game one. first one was a perfect bomb, and thrilling in its promise for the future. the second one we felt the gods were now on our side. btw do you think brett couldve made either throw late in the year?
Here's one...Torching the Cards in the first half of the game. I know it isn't one play...but damn! Been a lonngggggggg time since we've seen that kind of offense.
I don't want any bans. I was just saying it. But such a language is a disgrace IMO. If someone wants Favre back, why call his mother a whore? these 'kids' trying to act cool? It makes no sense to me.
Oh my....it has crossed my mind that maybe all of the Pennington supporters are now the Favre haters. This is just round two and what if they bring him back? (although, I do think he will retire)
Yeah that was my #2. That play was great not only for what happened on the field, but also because it was the moment I finally felt, "yeah, we are for real, we can come through and get it done when we need to, anywhere, against anybody." Sadly, that feeling only lasted two and a half weeks.
The one handed Cotch catch was awesome. The one handed Coles catch was worth a second look too. We didn't see Baker bringing one to the house this year on a one handed grab though. But Ellis Fumble recovery beats all of them. Sad enough, thats where the year ended...
-Cotch's touchdown vs. New England -Coles' touchdown vs. Tennessee -Barrett's Pick 6 on MNF -Ellis's fumble recovery TD -Leon's kick return vs. NE -Abram Elam's pick 6 in Buffalo -Favre to Cotchery TD week 1 -Jones TD vs. Denver -Revis INT vs. Chaddy boy to seal Week 1.
You are mistaken, it was 3rd down, still unbelievable though. It felt like a 4th down, if they didn't convert NE was gonna win it.
Definitely the ellis play but the cotchery td bomb from Favre in the opening game against the phins was sweet.
thank you. jets n boys is soft. disgrace? how about 50+ threads on the same topic, "brett favre retiring", "brett favre as qb", "who do you want as QB.... ill say brett favre" whats a "disgrace" is the amount of redundancy. i'm fed up with all of the hype people have for Brett when he single handedly cost us games, if you want to dispute that we can, but since NOW i cant say any expletives to you on here, i'll just speak my mind in the form of a smiley. :shit: So. IMO. i think favre is a washedup quarterback, with too much hubris, and has lost the meaning of what it means to play football. its not just about playing. Its about love for the game, the sport, your team, the fans.... he lacks all of those intangibles. everyone says coles is a cancer. the real disease was bringing Favre to win a instant Super Bowl where the likelihood of that was zero. you cant buy a championship.
You're forgetting Leon's run vs Tennessee, and Thomas Jones' TD run off the same play the next week. Edit - Whoops, you included the Denver run. :X
