Since we have heavy representation this year I'll probably tune in. In past years I couldn't care less.
negative...only one good thing ever happened in the pro bowl: Sad Sean is gone now.
It excites the player's wives who get free Hawaiian vacations. It will be a shame when they start rotating the site. Then nobody will ever show up.
I haven't been excited about a Pro Bowl since I was living in Hawaii and had a buddy who got press passes to the game in 1994. And I'm still not. When you are up close to the players coming out of the tunnel and see how little they care about the game, well... what's the point?
cant find footage but a few years ago i think itd be in between 2001-2004 there was a pro bowl where Ray Lewis made an INT or a fumble recovery and he literally trucked like 4 or 5 guys on his return I mean obliterated them.
And going through the mind of each of those guys was 'Man, I gotta tackle this motherfucker on my vacation??'
Anyone else excited due to being able to see some of their Jets one more time this season?
Nope. No hitting. It's just another BAD all-star game--- I don't watch any of these.....
I always think the Pro-Bowl is like watching paint dry! One game too many at the end of a long season - I hope to hell we get no-one injured!
I'm going to watch tomorrow. I'd like to see our players in it unlike last year. TJ and Leon early on, Jenkins and Revis in the later part of the game, and Mangold and Faneca after the 1st qtr. It'll be fun to watch for us.
Thats my thought exactly. If there was one thing I would want today, it would be Leon returning one for 6. Only problem is no one will block for him. It is possible no one will be able to tackle him though either. He will have a chance to show his moves today.
Too bad Faneca only made it because of name recognition. ...wait, that's basically every player on the roster. I'll never watch a sporting event where fan-based voting decides the rosters.
Clinton Portis is hilarious http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80e9e042 Kris Jenkins' cameo is classic!
