Ive stayed faithful to the Cuse S since 05. Wow I cant believe Ive been a member for almost 4 years.

 

Even if we draft a RB early we need Jones around.

So true. I joined right before the draft in 06, which would make this almost exactly 3 years that I've gone on TGG every single day at least once a day...really makes me wonder what the hell im doing with my life.

Jet21, you're new to this board, so you may not be aware that every time a trade is suggested, someone will come up with an outlandish trade based on Madden. And I mean EVERY time. It's the TGG running joke.

As someone else has said, it would get tired if it wasn't for the fact that someone bites every time.

 

He will be a little better then he was in '07 but nowhere near as good as he was in '08 unless we have a QB that presents as big a threat as Favre did. With Ryan's pronouncement to run, run and run some more it doesn't bode well for Jones.

 

if you can make it on TGG, you can make it anywere

 

Keep TJ this season and draft Shonn Greene in the second. Next year Jones can take a hike and we have a young power back to fill his shoes.

Maybe he doesn't realize it but our oline deserves far more credit than he does for his season.

and on the current topic, it is very unrealistic to see Jones get traded, if he does get traded it will be for a middle to late rounder, or an outright release

Back to the topic. This isn't a Madden game. I've played 2009 and you won't get a 1st rounder from the Lions for TJ AND a 1st rounder and 3rd rounder for Coles from Seattle. I did that and really wished it was real.

I could see us getting a 5th rounder that could end up into a 3rd depending on touches/yards. Right now tho, it's not worth it. I think TJ has another solid year left in him considering we will be very run heavy.
