Naw, dude... Beckett was just playing the game the right way.

I wonder if he called himself a fucking cunt after that pitch?

Did Pedro throw at heads though? I don't remember him doing that, but my memory is cloudy. Like I said, I don't have a problem with guys throwing inside. So, you hit people, big deal. As long as it's not in the head it just stings. (Well, unless it's on the fingers or the ankle, then it can be a problem, but still.)

Only if he did it three times in two different games.

I actually probably like Youkilis less than any other Red Sox fan alive.

Great game winning rbi by Jeter. Great save by Rivera. Sad loss with Nady.

Taking 2 of 3 in Tampa is great though. dwalsh keep it rolling!

    Thanks.

Here's the last one I got from my phone...The Swisher bases loaded strikeout in the 1st last night.

    Don't forget Bruney.

    Since that shitty first outing:

    5 G
    4.2 IP
    0 R
    0 H
    10 K

    His K/9 this year? 18.0! :eek:hmy:

At this rate, even the Joba To The Pen hardliners will have to change their argument to, "Joba should be pitching the seventh inning."

Okay, now after the happiness of winning 2 straight series...

I KNOW its early...But with a lot of us loving Swisher and Cano's hot bat and gloating about that...

Whats the holdup with Tiexiera? The wrist doesn't make you strike out 3 times today...And yesterday he got a sac-fly, but he hasn't done much yet...

I doubt he'll get booed because Giambalco isn't a fan favorite such as Donnie or Tino. But lets go.

You answered your own question: "I KNOW its early..."

I mean, really, dude? He's only played in six games, three of them while injured.

Let's all check back in June before we start to ask questions or worry.

ETA: And, yes, the wrist can easily make you strike out three times. I'm not a professional athlete, but I am a guitarist, and I have tendonitis in my left wrist. It fucking hurts. A lot. To the point that I can't play when it's aggravated. I'm not saying that is why he struck out, but it's no joke, and it can definitely be a distraction while trying to hit a small object moving at 90mph.
