Huh... I could have sworn that I already started this thread this morning. I know for a fact that I at least had it ready to post. Must have forgot to submit it. Whoops.

Lineup could have been worse. At least Jeter is playing. Still good there is a pitching missmatch with the JVs playing.

    Watching YES.

According to the broadcast team, Hairston is playing because Ichiro couldn't go tonight.

You'd think someone would correct them.

Two outs, 1st and second, Gutierrez misses the diving catch, and it's 1-0.

He would've made the play had he gotten a better jump.

2-0 after a WP by Snell brings another run in.

Game over. 5-0 Yankees. Teeing off on Snell, and CC has his good stuff. 4 Ks for him and no hits allowed.

I'm getting the Mariners broadcast out here. Buddy before the game is like "The Yankees won't be able to hit their home runs in a REAL ballpark like Safeco. Let's hope they try and do it"

So a little after 11, I shut off the TV and changed to the radio broadcast.

I was greeted by John Sterling.

"There's no such thing as momentum. You play every day."

I see. Also, "If the Yankees keep winning 9 out of 10, they're in good shape."

    What insight!

Also, the KGB trivia question of the day?

Who was the only Mariner to win the Cy Young?

Yeah, a baseball fan would definitely need KGB for that one.

Sweeney and Branyan just drilled two balls against CC, only to have them end up being warning track blasts.

    I'd go with Tim Belcher.

It's true. Their price tag is higher than any other team.

11-1 after Matsui homered for the second time. 4/5 with 5 RBI. Impressive.

    Money well spent apparently.

Matsui and Damon are mashing of late.... CC could probably go the distance...
