Well, of course not at any cost, but at some reasonable cost.

I doubt this team scores many points without an upgrade at wideout. It's that simple, really.

Marshall probably isn't going anywhere, he's signed. He's just pulling the crybaby act to see if he gets the same results Cutler did. Can't blame him, worth a shot. But really, if Denver ignores him and keeps him there, what's he gonna do, hold out? Play half-assed? No one will want him then, because he'll eventually do the same crap on another team when he's not happy. If Denver lets Marshall go, they are opening the door for everyone else to abandon ship that doesn't want to be in Denver or has a subpar contract. I can't speak for Bowe.

I think at this point in the offseason, trading for Marshall or Bowe would be at a significant cost. But I doubt we'd be realistic trading partners in any event. McDaniels or Pioli... hmmm, they are big fans of the Jets, right? Not even mentioning that fact that they are both in the AFC, I doubt either one of them would give us a sweetheart deal for their best wideout.

I started breaking down some of the plays with the 1's in the Rams game, and Keller looks like he is definitely improving his blocking ability. We had one run up the middle where he took on Chris Long one-on-one and blocked him out of the play, even being off balance. He's never going to be Anthony Becht in that department, but I like the attention he seems to be giving to that area of his game. We still need another answer at blocking TE to work red zone formations, though. Unless then just plan on lining Turner in the TE slot for that kind of thing.

Excaclty, everyone who?s calling for either, gotta realize, that it?ll cost us at least a 1st, maybe even more to get one of these guys.

On inside runs or runs away from him, all he gotta do is get in the Way, not a big deal for a guy as quick as Keller.

I saw Keller whiff on a block or two, but overall he did his job just fine. Definitely a step up from last year.

Cool. Honestly, I didn't watch him very much during the Rams game, so I don't know how much he's progressed. Glad to hear that though.

As for not being Anthony Becht, I'll take Keller over Becht every single time. Sure, he could block like a brick wall, but he also caught the football like that same wall.

As for him putting attention in, there's nothing I've seen about this kid yet that doesn't tell me he's ready and willing to learn everything he can to be the best player he can be.

I admit my first reaction to picking him was not positive. I felt we had more pressing needs, but I was very happy to have been proven wrong by him last year.

A deal need not be a sweetheart one to be a reasonable one.

It seemed to work well for Randy Moss in Oakland.

Marshall demoted to scout team.Quoted as saying he is not even close to learning the playbook....

One wonders if the leak to the papers was a nudge of encouragement to step up his antics..

He had 40 tackles and 4 sacks as a rookie 3-4 DE, I don't think he's a barn burner but that's not too shabby when you consider he played for the Rams. He's a pretty big dude.

Just never heard much about him after he was drafted. Could be that it was due to being on such a shitty team. Those stats sound good, alot better than you know who.

Long would have made a great 3-4 OLB

his change of direction is beautiful.

    And he has football instincts.
