I think they shold have to play a football game to determine who wins the division. Go Twins. Not that im afraid of either but Id rather not face Verlander twice
Wednesday or Thursday (I guess it depends on which format the Yankees choose.) I also just heard that the Yankees' games will start at 6:05PM. Today's game starts at 5:07 on TBS. All ALDS games will be on TBS as well, and the AL will switch over to FOX for the ALCS.
it would've been today, but for Monday Night Football. If they wanted to play it today, they would've had to play it at 11 AM CDT or earlier, and baseball didn't want to do that. I read about the possibility last week. Favre strikes again. In the past, the NFL had been willing to accommodate by switching dates, but not for this one.
The Yankees get to choose whether they want to start a day earlier and have an extra day off during the series, or start a day later and not have the extra day during the series.
If the Twins win that game, the Yankees are sweeping their way into the ALCS. They have dominated Minn all year, and the Twins doesn't have the top rotation pitchers like we do in CC, Burnett, and Pettite.
Yeah, but that tear they've gone on has been at the expense of: KC - 9 games DET - 7 games CLE - 6 games CHW - 6 games TOR - 4 games OAK - 3 games BAL - 3 Games Not exactly surprising that even a semi-decent team can go 27-13 over that period against that competition.
27-13 against those teams is impressive. The games against KC helped, but Oakland, Toronto, Detroit, and even the White Sox are not patsies. That's .675. Most teams wouldn't have gone .675 against that schedule.
No he doesn't. Cappy thinks that baseball is just a series of equations done by robots. Human characteristics have no effect on the outcome.
