There have been 3 innings extended due to terrible non-strike-three calls. This one led to the first run scored in the game. The foul call was terrible, but the three inning extenders are terrible in themselves.

I just think that missed ball/strike calls are to be expected and happen both ways. The call in Game 2 you don't see often, though. That wasn't a matter of inches. Plus, sometimes the ball/strike calls aren't necessarily missed as they depend on the umpire in question's zone.
In reality there's only 1 strike zone...It's unfortunate that this is changed depending on who the ump is..
