With the exception of a few crews, the national announcers suck

    Do any of you find yourselves turning down the volume on the TV and listening to local radio when watching the games?

    The announcers last night were pretty bad, more concerned with saying San-CHEZ properly than giving us specifics as to players on the field, etc...A few plays I feel as though I nearly caught them saying "Williams tackled by 'that guy in green'" right before reading over their team rosters and getting a better feel for who was actually out there.

    Ricky Williams hobbled off the field late in the game and they don't even mention it? Come on guys, you're more concerned with shooting the sh't and less concerned with providing relevant details in the game.

    ... agreed, there was an enormous abundance of shit shooting and balls licking going on in the booth by that ESPN crew.

    At times, I felt as if I was watching a Dolphin Feed on the game the way they were talking them up.

    -Tiricco calls are so fake! He sounds like he's taking a shit when someone makes a big play.

    -Jaws sounds like someone who is a nerd with no friends so he says things he doesn't really mean just so they won't give him wedgies.

    -Gruden acts like he thinks he's wearing a leather Jacket on a Harley and realizes he's in a booth with the Nerd and the shitter.

    I think Gruden gets them talking and they forget to focus ont he game.

    What was with Jaws shooting down Gruden's comment about how watchign te WIldcat was the most fun he'd had in years? He was clearly joking, but jaws has to says "What about hoisting the Lombardi trophy, that wasn't fun?".....just roll with it dude.

    Gruden is HORRIBLE on TV!!!!!!!!!! I tried to make this post contain more information and reasoning but I couldn't, he is flat out TERRIBLE.
