This game heading to extras reinforces what I was arguing before though--Hughes should've been brought in instead of Joba, and Chamberlain could be out there to eat a few innings if need be. It's not a call you see every day, but Aybar was NOWERE NEAR 2nd base. All the times you see those plays called out, it's usually because the guy was reasonably close and/or moving across the bag. This one was obvious.
