http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2009/10/richard-seymours-raiders-from-playoffs-to-schoolboy-also-rans/1 Wow, it's like Richard Seymour is saying what everyone else is thinking...and has already told him!
That's hilarious... One week is the difference between getting to the playoffs and losing to a high school team.
Yeah if we somehow find a way to sign him and draft a defensive lineman in the first round we'll have a really deep D-line The Raiders wouldn't let him go after trading a first round pick for him....would they?!
They confirmed their stupidity by accepting the trade before he signed an extension. That franchise just boggles the mind, anything is possible with those clowns. If they put the franchise tag on him he'll probably hold out... just a clusterfuck of a situation.
This asshole is saying this shit so that he can get shipped outta Oakland in the off-season as a "cancer" or a "malcontent". If the fucking Patriots pick him up again, the NFL better investigate cause there's some foul play going on between these two teams.
Preying on Al Davis' senility isn't really "foul play." But I'm pretty sure the Seymour-Belichick relationship is not a good one. I seriously doubt he'd ever come back.
I'd actually say (based on nothing mind you) that would be one of the more likely options. Maybe it's just what someone said earlier... Seymour would know that it would kind of stick it to Belichick, and he'd also get a chance for a little revenge twice/season. The only x-factor is the ex-Pat coaches out there. If Mangini hasn't lost his job by then, he'd probably make a pitch, and I think McDaniels would too. Then you've also got Pioli in KC. Nepotism at its best.
I think Seymour is a dick and a dirty player but if he wants to sign with the Jets then I'd be more than happy to have him on the roster. If for now other reason, he and Ryan can try and one-up each other with grandiose predictions about the team.
We've been pretty successful in getting the guys we want thanks to Mike T. I do fear Mangini might call in a favor this time around and ask us to lay off, but it all depends if he wants to play for a team with 1 win (so far). McDaniels will present a good case since they're a winning franchise now. I'm not really worried about Pioli. The runnings seem like the Yets and the Broncos. I think he'd want to stick it to Beli.
The more I think about it, the more I see how bad of a deal they made. Maybe they could use a young OLB for say a few draft picks? Hint Hint.
Depends - what's his 40 time? BTW and slightly off-topic, it's truly pathetic that Raiderfaux's last post was last Friday, despite all of his assurances that he'd be back after the game. Oh wait - he did say that it would be after a Raiders win, so I guess it doesn't count. How this troll hasn't been banned is beyond me.
