I agree But, to me the even bigger problem is all the fans that were driving the Gholston Bus at Draft time that year.... IMO.... IF YOU WERE ON THAT BUS, YOU SHOULD SHUT UP

And there's a lot of people in that group.

"A disruptor and Gholston seems like the guy. Put him alongside Pace, Ellis, Harris, Revis and Rhodes and we now look like a legit D. "

Let's see....a "professional" athlete injurs a hamstring in a walk through in a session following a bye week.......a walk through.......

Hmmmmmm.......think maybe they want to make him inactive this week without raising any "flags" with the NY press........?

Yes our workout warrior bust had the masses in Green Kool aid land talking about his sack totals and pointing out he got one against Jake Long. We fell for the combine okey doke! He was and is not a football player.

I can say without a doubt that I've had more minor injuries stretching and warming up than actually playing or working out. And taking a week off makes that sort of thing far more likely.

i hated McFadden's character, so i really wanted Gholston.

I never looked at who he is rather than the highlight reel.

If I saw interviews and learned what kind of person he is, I would have realized how big of a pussy he is and he can't play football.

When Ghost is on the field he sometimes has a weird body language.
    Seems Totally uninterested.

There have been a few plays where he hustled, got double teamed etc...and that was the most we've seen interms of contributions from him.

    Now,
I think he either has something mentally wrong with him or he feels like he doesn't fit in.

Maybe He's gay and feels like he is an outcast? Who knows.
It's ok to be gay Ghost, just go out and get sacks.....

holy shit, did I just say that ??

    that's a bit of a stretch.

back in college he was known for being really quiet and he's very introverted.

he also loves bodybuilding a hell of a lot more than football.

This isn't a game he is obsessed with. Something that mangini overlooked

i love football more than Gholston.

Maybe that's the problem. They tell him to get sacks and he goes out at night looking for a new rainbow bar. He could be a Sackmaster for all we know...

I've heard Gladys interviewed and he actually sounds well spoken and down to earth. If I hadn't known who he was, I really wouldn't guess he had his head in the clouds and a vagina between his legs.

What offends me the most is what Gholston banks for doing absolutely nothing. Can we change the way the NFL pays rookies? Damn, this money could go towards real football players.

that's what everyone wants. If there is a rookie scale for pay, the players want the guarantee that the money being saved goes into bigger veteran salaries.

I love that idea. You get paid a decent salary to play this game, and if you breakout and become a premier player, you get a huge salary as a reward.

    it makes sense.

I don't want to waste too much time on Gholston, but he'll end up making more than some of the greatest Jets of all-time. But I guess you can say that about all modern-day players and their contemporaries.

Nothing at all, yet his lack of production on the field has everything to do with the label.

Well,on the other hand, I played football for 10 years, and rode Motocross competitively for 20. In all that time I never once pulled, strained, sprained, or tweeked anything during a walk through......... and I'll bet good money that I wasn't in nearly as good physical condition as a pro athlete is.

Then he'll go somewhere else and become a star, that's usually the way it works, lol.
