OK, I've just about had it. I'm listening to Mike Francesca rip Sanchez and I see other people doing it likewise. (1) You guys have monologues, he's entitled to one, too. (2) He didn't NOT take questions from the press, he had some thoughts and stuff he wanted to get out in case he forgot or it wasn't asked by the media. (3) He ate a f******* hot dog at the end of a Jets blowout victory and gets attacked like he got caught on a DWI the night before a big Jets game. (4) He had us in position to win yesterday despite mediocre stats. (5) He stinks ? Take a look at Stanford in Detroit, Fatso in Oakland, or even 4th-year Cutler in Chicago.
The monologue was stupid. It does show immaturity. He seemed like a kid trying to get out of trouble with the principal at school. And I don't like Francesa anymore than anyone else, but he is right today.
for crying out loud, who gives a fuck? do you really think you are going to end all criticism, as if it is based in reality? "gee, JetsKickAss makes a good point, we were wrong all along guys." the only thing worse than the criticisms is the whining about them.
hey if you dont want people to talk about you dont give them ammunition to talk about. i would imagine he brought out the notes and did it that way to avoid a bunch of criticism, but he should have realized it would create different criticism in addition to what he heard yesterday. listen i dont like the press and feel they think they are far more important than they are but if you piss them off it can get ugly, shit it WILL get ugly. i would advise him to not do stuff to give them ammo. the hotdog thing was inexcusable, he deserved to be made fun of and ridiculed. he will live with that moment the rest of his career, thats just the way it goes.
Id rather him do that than collapsing under all the pressure. Hes still our QB for many years to come and im happy with that.

Growing pains are expected. He's made mistakes but he has also made some great plays. Focus on the future. I know im excited for it
Detroit: Palo Alto of the Midwest So you've watched Stafford play? I mean, besides watching highlights. I've watched Sanchez play in about half of the games. Skill sets are nothing alike, what they are being asked to do for their respective teams is nothing alike, do I need to even bother with the talent aspect?, etc. Russell is the worst starting QB in the NFL and Cutler is a better QB than Sanchez. By far. He's also clearly a much bigger douchebag.
