All the games he has played our defense has seemed to do pretty good... Our other cornerbacks just cant seem to get the job done....

If you're comparing him to Coleman and Cole, obviously Sheppard is a whole lot better. Lowery and Strickland have been injured most of the season but Strickland has been outstanding when healthy.

I've always been high on Lito and depending on his price tag he maybe worth resigning. Their might not be a better # 2 CB in the league except perhaps Cromartie in SD and he brings a quick to the ball physical style that fits our defense well. He's alittle fragile..but I cant see messing w/ what has developed into a special type of pass defense. If the price tag is reasonable..pay him.

I'm just saying, the thread brings up a decent enough topic of discussion - Lito had a good game and it looks like our defense is playing very well every time he's in. ToddisGod spewed every retarded half-complete thought that went through his head into the main Jets forum. 90% of the time it had nothing to do with the Jets or how they were playing.
well its a 10 mill option if im not mistaken, so perhaps we let him go to FA then snag him cheaper there.
I must admit, that during the pre-season and very early in the year, I had my misgivings about the guy, but he has stepped up his game - it is evident. Choke on that Francessa.
