Signing this dude would be akin to the early-decade Yankees' acquisitions of Kevin Brown and Randy Johnson.

JETS HOMER OF THE YEAR, WITH THIS PIPE DREAM! LOL

uncapped year, or not, i find it hard to believe woody would appreciate cutting ghost and paying all that dough for nothing. someone's head would have to roll for that one. add in rhodes and more than a head will have to roll for those two. tanny will have to get on his knees and pucker up, anytime woody has the need....

lol, it's your button that needs to be destroyed!

thomas isn't going to come to the jets as depth, when he's good enough to be a starter for most teams. his last contract, and you're another delusional clown that thinks thomas will come to the jets just because of rex for the cheap. and then be a backup, to boot, lol. major homer thinking....

He had 8 sacks in 04, 9 in 05 and 11 in 06. He has been a bust in NE but I still think he'd be a solid addition

...and you're insane. A 33 year old linebacker who was never a franchise-best player, how much money do you think he is going to command? Yea he can start on a lot of teams, a lot of teams are absolute shit, completely devoid of actual starters and running solely with backups. He has had no production since his last big contract, no one is going to break the bank for this guy.

I've noticed you keep calling everyone a homer. I don't think it means what you think it means.

Cameron Heyward. He has played both DE and OLB in Ohio State and has had success at both positions. Unlike Gladys, he actually gives a shit. His size puts him on the DL, where he would be great, but he is athletic enough to play both with his hand on the ground and standing up.

take off your green glasses and actually think. to say no team will offer him decent money is assnine. 33 and one of the fastest most athletic linebackers in the league. he's just not the dominating type that belichicken paid 8 million a year for.

he should easily get a two or three year contract from a team that needs an outside backer, and for a lot better money than you or mb want to believe. hense, why you're being a homer. you don't look at things realistically sometimes/forget to take off the green glasses.

when you can't make your point intelligently, you resort to childish behavior.

bb was right on about you in the other thread about you resorting to a 10 year olds thought process, when you have no intelligent response. you're too easy!!!! this is where i get to come down to your level, "YOUR MAMA"

Or maybe I'm looking at a guy who in 3 years has averaged 37 tackles and 3 sacks per year, is about to hit 33 years old and has been a locker room problem. He's at the end, no one is going to break the bank to bring him in. He'll probably get a moderate 2-3 year deal with a small number at the end just in case the next CBA includes a salary cap and whoever signs him needs to drop him in. Maybe you should actually think before you type something.

Don't mind him, he is just a nasty negative bastard that everyone pretty much thinks is dogshit on a shoe.

He just happens to be correct in this instance though. No way Thomas comes here to be a rotational player.

I just don't see what he has done to warrant getting signed for anything more. He spent three years as a linebacker in a Bill Belichick defense and proceeded to disappear from the face of the league. I don't think that he will take a pay cut just for Rex but I really cannot see him going anywhere to be a starter beyond a stop-gap role.

Oh I am not saying he is good or anything, far from it. It is the fact some team is going to pay him more money and he will be a starter. I do not see him coming here and getting paid as a rotational sub. At this point the only reason I see him coming here at a discount, is to stick it to BB. Why do that with your last pay check at 33 y/o?

He really isn't that good anyhow. I do not want him on the Jets.

you're the one labeling everybody on this board a "homer".....it's only natural to think you're a homersexual.

    It's simple math really.

lol, this is what i have been saying from the start, you need reading comprehension lessons.

first you agree with the homers that you want thomas to come here for cheap, just because he played for rex in the past and also to get payback from the pat's.
and above, you are changing your tune to a more realistic view, instead of the jets homer you are. or was that homo? i don't know, they were your words, not mine.

yes, thats me in a nutshell. you know me so well. i take it you're about 50 years old and grew up in farmingdale l.i.

and the second bolded area is why i had to laugh at the guy's homerism.

everyone! really, perhaps you can go back and bring up my reference to everyone on this board being a homer.
you are the only one to have brought this subject up. it is you that has someone else's nutsack on the brain. perhaps you have issues that have you leaning that way.
