Not sure if any of you stayed in the stadium untill after the game was over. But, after about 5-10 minutes after the game ended, the players and coaches came back out on the field and did a lap around the stadium high fiving fans. I would guess only a few thousand left. I was on the visitors side around the 30 yd line. All of sudden I see a guy getting carted off in a stretcher. I am assuming he was leaning to far over the rail to give a a player dap and must have fallen over. Any fans see this or hear anything about it.
I stayed and went down to see the players take the lap, but I didn't see anyone fall or being taken off in a stretcher.
I was there and saw him lying on the ground - I did not see him fall. He was on the ground around the 50 yard line. When they announced the team, we went running down to the railing and were so excited to see the players and then there was this guy lying face down, not moving. We thought he was dead. Very sad. Security waited for a doctor/parametics to come over. He was completely unconscious but we think we saw him move and breathe. I just called Giants Stadium security to see if they knew anything but they did not have anything to report. I pray to God that he is okay. I have tried to Google to see if there is any news on the incident, but nothing. He was a middle-aged guy (mid-50's). There did not appear to be anyone with him.
wow thats sad....i stayed after the game and was getting high fives on the visitors side of the field around the 20 yard line, didn't notice anything that was wrong.
I know the guy. He was drunk and he fell over the railing face first and hit face first. He had surgery yesterday to put 3 plates in his face.
I think people get more drunk at the non alcohol games because they binge like crazy in the tailgate and then stupid sh-t like this happens.
Question, How can you even enjoy or watch the game in this condition? This is the BS behavior that keeps many fans away from the venue. I few drinks and a slight buzz no problem, yet too many people are not content until totally blasted to the point they can't even remember being there...
