Nolan has ran good defenses in the past. I'd say it's a good hire.... I wonder if this means Groh to NE. Alot of former Jet assistants within the division.
Right when I was starting to get excited about Gailey in Buffalo, we have the prospect of Nolan in Miami. Fuck.
Because Josh McDaniels is a megalomaniacal dick. Just like his mentor. This is bad news for the Jets. Nolan's a very sharp defensive mind, and he's one of the guys who Rex Ryan learned from (and can thus provide Miami with a little insight into what the Jets are trying to do on defense.)
Good hire. Miami needs all the help they can get going up against the almighty New York Jets in 2010. 2009 is over folks and the Dolphins sweep of the Jets is history. I hope they enjoyed it while they could.
^I don't know about that one Xeticus, but I do like the hire. I was hoping to find him in Buffalo as DC when the news broke.
Here's a possiblity........ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/19/report-nolan-left-denver-after-dolphins-sought-permission-to-interview-him/
and hes been about as impressive as Sanchez considering his OL and WR's arent even as close as good as the jets.
Nolan most likely thinks that there's a chance that he could get the HC job if Tony Sparano is fired next season or something, Sparano is definitely on the hot seat, If Miami doesn't get better this off-season Which is why the Jets Franchise NEEDS to continue to steer in the right direction we have no time for road blocks this division is going to be a killer next season
yeah last time i checked the dolphins didnt have the number 1 defense and started two rookies at CB. i hate them just as much as anyone, but the one thing I got out of watching them this year is Henne looks legit he just needs some weapons.
