The Colts are resting Peyton for next year's playoff run :lol::lol:

I don't listen to the FAN anymore but occasionally I turn Fatass on to hear his tirades. I wouldn't bother calling in cause he's an ass and the screeners would never let me through cause I have at least half a brain and can speak intelligently.

Man... I stopped listening to him a couple of years ago, but now... he is so clueless, it's actually very entertaining. He has me laughing out loud. I'm serious. I've never heard such an ignorant sports talk guy. I mean, he makin the kids at Fordham on WFUV look good here.

San Diego got him from Miami for a second rounder during the 2007 season. Pretty good deal for Miami, because he's always been very overrated.

SD released him early this season. He hadn't been productive at all. The Chiefs picked him up and he actually produced. I think he scored twice against SD, even.

he said it last week to.

We don't get paid to know this but we all do. You would think he would know the release of a star player.

    But it's all about Pressure!

    Yeah, I know. Tell fatboy.

Chambers is a head case... lots of talent, no brains. But he did do OK at KC. Point is, Chambers is a fairly high profile story. If fatso didn't know any of this.... it proves the fact that he doesn't even follow the NFL very much.

He really does sound like all he does is read the local papers, and draws his "opinions" from them. Not knowing about Chambers is inexcusable. Not knowing about Chambers with the Jets about to play SD on the playoffs is beyond explanation.

This Jackass keeps saying the same thing ...

"Da Jets wuh reelin goin intah dat Colt game ... dey jus lawst to duh Falcons in dere own bildin!"

Reeeeally??? We were REELING going into the game???
Its strange that we would be reeling going into the game ... The way I remember it we TOOK THE FIELD ALREADY CONTROLLING OUR OWN DESTINY because the Dolphins had already lost to the Texans ....the Ravens had already lost to the Steelers, and the Jaguars had already lost to the Patriots.

By the time we stepped onto the field WE ALREADY KNEW that 2 wins would get us into the playoffs.

We weren't reeling you STUPID ASS!!! We were psyched!!!

He'll never mention the 3 FGs in the Falcon game, they only matter in SD.

Of course not ... misses only count if they support his argument.

But at that point, the misses and the loss to ATL didn't even matter! The Jets stepped onto that field at 4:15 already knowing that 2 wins would gaurantee them a playoff spot.

Just said he thinks that Ryan was Ravens DC since Marvin Lewis left. How has he never heard of Mike Nolan?

Here's the thing - I don't know much about the radio biz, and I'm sure Francessa is a business savvy guy, and that ratings are involved, but what bothers me is this - WFAN is our hometown sports station, and one of our teams, the Jets, is on an unexpected and even shocking drive deep into the playoffs, and the #1 host on the #1 NY sports station does a piece about the Jet's "field goal defense", basically mocking what they have achieved and what is going on? I would expect to hear something like that on a Boston, Miami, Philly, or even San Diego or Indy station, but on our own? Shouldn't he be pumping us up, interviewing coaches and players, and talking about how we could possibly upset the Colts? I have to ask - when the Yankees were making their run this year, was he talking about how much money they have and how many top free agents they get? When the Giants made their run a couple of years ago, did he continually harp on the 0-3 start? Hell, I even remember him getting up for the Mets playoff run in 06. And it can't just be that the Jets are broadcast on another station - the Yankees are too. So what is his point? I wanted to call and ask him this, but you can never effing get through on those lines.

The Yankees are broadcast on FAN's sister station 770.

The Jets are on a different network altogether and they give 1050 all the access to the players/coaches. Mike is bitter about this, so he'll tear down the Jets every chance he gets and finish his rants backhandedly with something like "...and I like Rex Ryan."

Well said. This is why I don't understand how people can't see his outright animosity for the Jets and their fans.

On yesterday's show he said he played those clips because all he heard (after the Falcons loss) was Jets fans saying the only reason we lost was bc of 3 missed FGs. So he wanted to throw it back in the fans' faces by slightly discrediting the two Playoff wins.

What's sad is that he has to do something like that because he lets Jets fans rattle him.
