Rhodes isn't going to be cut! Only possible way KR leaves NY is via trade and a high trade at that, his numbers & contract demand it.
Too good? No, he's not a very good cover Safty at all. Still be around? Doubtful. Someone is goign to take a shot at his physical talent in the mid first. I was Hoping for Earl Thomas, but I think thats a long shot as well. Expect Rhodes to be back unless we get a very good pick back for him.
Yeah, both Mays and Thomas will be long gone. Nate Allen will be there at 29 and could sneak in to the first round.
As long as we have Revis and Leonard, we are already in great shape. if Eric Smith takes over for Rhodes, opposing offenses will have to worry about a mauler patrolling the secondary - something we don't have now. Aside from depth on the lines and maybe a pass rusher, the secondary is the only real need and we will address it in free agency.
I like Strickland a lot but he got hurt all the time. He proved not to be really dependable because of that.
What i'm taking out of what Rex said about "holding up his end of the conversation" with Rhodes is that he'll look to deal him. Stickland i love, when he plays, but his injuries make him a liability. Lito? SEE YA!

Aint nobody cutting Rhodes, Well either trade him or keep him. Lito is going to be gone, no question about that and Strick despite his injury problems might be back for one more season.
coleman sucks but people bash him too much. hes paid nothing and hes like our 5th cb thats good depth.

Entering this season, Rhodes was my favorite Jet, but he seems to be a guy who got a payday and some fame and let it go to his head. Beyond that, I think Jim Leonhard already does a lot of the things Rhodes does really well, if not better. Besides a pass rushing threat at the linebacker position, this team could really use a difference making safety. Wouldn't be shocked if they moved up to get Eric Berry or Taylor Mays. I haven't seen enough of either of them to really make a judgment at this point, but both fit the "playmaker" mold(although Mays seems overrated, he's a specimen for Ryan to work with). -X-
I like Strickland but good fucking riddance to Rhodes and Sheppard. I almost hope thisvis true just to see Rhodes gone.
the kerry conversation could have been hey if you want to stay you have to show that you belong here. He has had issues with the coaches and some teammates said they don't like his attitude. Shep is gone, but to lose Strickland and Rhodes also would be tough. They would need to get some picks back for Rhodes.
