I guess Donovan McNabb wasn't informed. It doesn't count if you didn't know.

Take some time to read the posts he's made since he's been here, he is a troll.

I'm guessing a Dolphins' fan in disguise.

can you clarify? I have read that a few times but I don't get "play action" when it is a running play? Maybe when Peyton handed off last week, we should have hit him every single time?

It was close. Doesn't mean he meant to hurt someone. He thought he still had the ball. Big deal. Don't need to be a crybaby over it. Sanchez is also not even close to a Peyton Manning. He hardly played like he belonged in the NFL and rode the coattails of a #1 defense and a #1 run game and O line in the NFL to a mediocre season. I don't see why people are like "OMG there goes our future!" When he actually shows something, like put together a clutch drive, win the game for the team, etc. without NEEDING the run game to set him up, THEN we can talk.

It doesn't matter whether Bullitt "thought" he had the ball. Tackling a player many moments after he no longer had the ball is illegal. Thats why playaction is so effective, defenders have to make sure the QB still has the ball. If Sanchez got hit immediately after he handed the ball off, thats fine, but he was practically running away from the play at that point.

So harsh on this board...the hit wasn't malicious first of all, second Bullitt isn't known for cheap shotting, the hit was close after the hand off, finally, it was a push and not a tackle...

Bullitt got fined and the play had little to no impact on the game. What was the amount fined for the hit on Favre?

Of course it wasn't malicious... I don't think anyone is saying he was trying to take out Sanchez or anything. At least I am not. But those are the rules... the same rules that they make sure they enforce for certain players in this league... they should be enforcing them equally regardless. Personally, I think they are treating QBs like giant vaginas. Getting your shit knocked in the dirt was always a part of the game. Now it's OMG.. they breathed on him. This game will be reduced to flag football eventually. Kind of lame ass, limp dick society we live in.

How long are Colts fans going to continue to post here? I figured they'd have moved on to the Saints board.

Note, I'm not complaining really, as there are a couple of decent Colts posters that I wouldn't mind if they decided to set up shop here.

It's just that Chargers fans generally disappeared 3 or 4 days later. Are the Colts boards just too boring? Or maybe they're full of group hand-jobs like the Pats forums...

Yup, some are kewl but the rest basically want you to worship everything COLTS and if you don't then they will argue nonsensically becasue you don't.

It's actually embarassing because I really think some of them don't see it.
They truly think you should bow down to the COLTS....

I love how Colts fans hang onto the word 'malicious', as if it renders an illegal hit legal. Look, moron, your player was fined for hitting our QB way too long after the ball was released. I don't give a shit if he was feeling MALICE toward Sanchez or not. It was an illegal hit on a defenseless player, by a player whose team has a QB protected by the league.

I can't wait to see a Jets player 'non-maliciously' drill the shit out of Manning next year in the playoffs. You buck-toothed hayseeds are going to be crying in your grits.

He is now. If that was peyton he would have gotten up ran to the nearest offial and started crying for a flag. Just like he did when he could not convert on the qb sneak in the 1st qrt. He was whining on an epic fail with nothing but good defense going down. Sanchez relaxed after the hand off and gave no sign of play action pass. Of corse if it was a Jet hitting precious little peyton I would have been loving every minute of it. What comes around......

random thought that came to mind today...if that was mangini coaching when sanchez got hit he would have just been standing there thumb up his ass chewing gum...instead Rex was projecting spit, swears, and debocheries into the side of the line judges face.

Really.... Sanchez held his own in that AFC Title Game even without a running game in teh second half. He also had teh best postseason ever by a rookie QB. Your banned and probably rightfully so but I'm sure you'd have some other troll like response. Oh BTW he led this team in the clutch on 2 game winning drives against the Dolphins only to have that defense you said he ride the coattails of allow the Phins to score the winning TD.

Help me out guys, as I cannot remember the exact series this happened on. Would 15 yards and a 1st down impacted the game at all, or is this tool right?
