Not bad definitely worth a work out. It could be a great move if he works out well because we can sign him low with a 3-4 year contract and if he pans out greatly it benefits us tremendously.

Apparently, he was a member of the 06 Ravens; probably as a practice squad player. I don't have very high expectations, but hey, if it works out, I am all for it...

Normally you sign these guys to a 1 year contract if they look promising. I don't see any way we sign him for a 3-4 year deal unless he looks like he will be a major contributor. We are tight on roster spots already

Seems like he's worth a workout at the least. It would be great if it led to something useful, $ wise.

I thought the thread title said 'Ricky Ray' when I first glanced at it. He's good for a look, if he's anything like Cameron Wake.

I assume there are no FA restrictions for us on signing CFL players.

There should not be any restrictions. He's not an NFL player with an expiring NFL contract. He's pretty much at the same value as an undrafted free agent.

Why not? Definitely worth a look. I wouldn't compare this goon to Wake, who was actually a very solid college player with good measurables, but he seems like he might have a shot. He's definitely pretty bad ass looking.

He also had a little stint with the Miami Dolphins in his rookie season

if he looks like that he'd be more than happy to play for a guy like Rex.
