Peyton = master of indoor football 13 of the 19 games he played this year were indoors, and only one in which the temperature at kickoff was colder than 56 degrees (the Bills game, which he barely played.)
Manning can eat a big fat d***. If he ever played a full season in bad weather, then I'd have more respect for him. Playing in perfect conditions every game is garbage. Put him in the Meadowlands, I wonder if he'd even be better than his brother (ok, he probably would be, but I don't think he'd be near as good).
The guy is still awesome, just threw a bad pass. Most any team would take him in a heartbeat over their current QB. I don't know if he's the greatest ever, but he's damn good.
On that note...I understand the Colts hired a new QB coach... Linda Lovelace. She's teaching him how to stop choking on the big ones.
Not me... Put him outside...hes maybe 75-80% as effective. He's SOFT. And he's a snotty little bitch. Look how quickly he threw his guys under the bus on the Onside kick thing. Mark's a Rookie, and would never do that.
Interesting point. I always take Manning's side in arguments about him vs. Brady and him being one of the best all time, but that is a good point. He does plays indoors and would clearly be less effective outdoors.
That soft little bitch would fold like a lawn chair in December. And he cant take a hit..... If we had a dome....that would be different.
And one other thing...Do you think Manning is even PLAYING last night, if Strickland, Greene,Jones, Washington, Bart Scott, and Kris Jenkins are healthy?
honestly i think you have a problem. the guy has never missed a game. you are obviously delusional because anyone who wouldnt take him over sancheese is not sensible.
See post 149. Sure he's never missed a game. The offense is predicated on keeping him upright. 80% of the QB's in the league could put up monster numbers, if they only got sacked 10 times a year. That's Tom Moore. And as I pointed out. Against a healthy Jets squad, Manning is watching last nights game.
That is correct. Manning's never missed a regular season or postseason NFL game. In fact, he's only missed one snap due to injury.
Ugg. I'm fine with the top two, but Favre and McNabb over Brees is not right. Favre had multiple sloppy seasons, home playoff losses, and horrible interceptions at the end of close playoff games. Brees had six excellent regular seasons and a Super Bowl MVP award.
I agree, Favre can have some moments, but makes alot of huge mistakes. McNabb has never closed the deal on a title.
I would drop favre, he really only had about 2-3 really good years but it would be close w/ McNabb and Brees. I wouldn't have a problem w/ them in any order, I think they are that close. Obviously Brees' peak was better than McNabb but McNabb had more good years so i think that tightens the gap.
