Sure, it's easy to disregard the actual reasons when you ignore the actual reasons. Who the fuck said that Sanchez is a savior? All that was said was that he performed as well as a Rookie QB with minimal starting experience in college was expected to perform. You were the one jacking up everyone's appraisal of Sanchez just so you could push your extreme view as a counter to the Sanchez overhype that you yourself created. hm... Blackout drinking on a Wednesday morning isn't exactly the smartest idea. Stop trying to change your argument just so you can troll the board at night. I'll give you the catching just so you can say you have accomplished something in your life but as for the speed, he's been a mismatch problem for just about every LB he has squared off against. How many LBs out there have you seen with the ability to run with him? Leaping ability? Sanchez has been putting the ball on or near his hands and chest on just about every throw to him. His leaping ability is fine, he has the same style of play as Clark and Heap. Stop trying to force a mold of Gates or Gonzalez on him. I really shouldn't be responding to anything you say at this point, seeing as though I'm fairly certain that you will die without constant attention. Tell me, are you sexually attracted to fire as well?
Mark Sanchez was a rookie. Peyton Manning threw 28 INTs as a rookie. "Look how he turned out"... 4.5 speed isn't top flight. It's just very fast for a tight end. Dustin Keller can do a lot of damage. He's a valuable weapon.
You do an excelent job of making yourself out to look like an idiot, a troll, or both with that first line. Any reasonable fan knows that QB play will affect the numbers of his receivers and the play calling of the coach. Our offense was extremely limited this year due to Mark's inexperince and should expand and improve moving forward. Keller needs to work on his game, but is not the doom and gloom waste that you are talking about.
Agreed and even though with the limited number of plays going Kellers way he still looks to have improved, especially with his blocking.
So he had 12 catches 181 yards 3 tds in the playoffs!!!! This showed me that he could step up in crunch time....If the Jets bring in a solid slot guy (maybe tate) you will see this guy explode this year.
Ummm, for fuck sake, he didn't have a training camp with Favre, while Sanchez was a rookie. Sanchez was the savior? Again, for fuck sake, Sanchez was a rookie. He might be the savior in a yr or two but right now, he was a rookie last year and played like one for the most part of it. He had a bad day against Buffalo where he dropped two or three catches, but EVERYONE has a bad day. Keller wasn't Sanchez' first read last year in most of the games. Sanchez will learn and Keller WILL become a major threat in the NFL. Keller didn't put up shit numbers last year. He was mediocre, but then again, we were I think 29th in the NFL passing. Did u expect him, Cotch and Braylon to have a 1000 yards season each while Mark threw for just 2400+ yards?
I'm plenty happy with Keller. Once we start using him more between the 20s, we will see a quality ROI from him.
Keller lit it up during the playoffs, and had an awesome year with brett. Sanchez is young and will learn how to use his TE properly. Give it time, and if you label keller a bust you clearly are not a Jet fan
I'm not calling him a bust, yet. I just expect more from him. He may have had a good 3 game postseason like Sanchez which you all jerk off to but he had 2 td's during the regular season and look at his last 5 or 6 games. Idk what you are talking about saying he is a hugh mismatch problem. I have never seen him burn linebackers nor have I seen alot of success in the seam like I thought he would.
Is there one player on the team about whom you have posted without using the phrase "he's not a bust yet", troll?
He doesn't "look" that fast because he runs with long strides. Kind of like Vince Young...you don't realize how fast he is moving just becasue of his long ass strides, but he is definitely moving.
Or maybe do you think that Sanchez turned it on in the postseason and started looking to DK allowing him to Shine? Which as Sanchez grows is what we are going to see more and more of? DK is going to be one of the best TE's the Jets have had in a very long time by the time his Rookie contract is up, much less by the time his Jets career is over with.
