I'm happy we're keeping TRich around another year... especially after we let TJ go we needed a veteran like him in the running dept. Plus he's an excellent lead blocker.

I figured I didn't need the number anymore.

(Plus, I was tired of people asking me if I created the name because of Leon Washington and/or Donnie Abraham)

I guess adding a third W isn't an option? Do what you gotta do. I'm notorious for changing my name...My next one is going to be Sciko.

Don't feel too bad......some A-Hole asked if I was 85 years old and was in World War II.

Wait, you're not an 85 year old war veteran?

Re: (unconfirmed) The Jets resigned Tony Richardson

What does TR have to do with the F8P? We were free to sign him regardless.

Very glad to have him back. An absolutely crucial part of our offense.

Of course it has nothing directly to do with it, but by re-signing him the Jets avoided having to directly use a draft pick (unlikely, of course), lose a pick or player in a trade, or wait for someone else's leavings, since signing a free agent was out of the question.

Like I said, Tannenbaum is managing to put the team he wants together, despite all of the predictions that the rules would make it impossible. Remember the fans who claimed that the Pats were better off losing in the first round, and the Fins were better off not making the playoffs, so that they could rebuild their teams so well through free agency? Sounds pretty ridiculous now, doesn't it?

Re: (unconfirmed) The Jets resigned Tony Richardson

Gracias, sir. Just wanted clarification. I agree completely with the second paragraph. As far ad the first, we likely would have used Jason Davis, which would have had at least a minimally detrimental effect on our run game. Glad to have TR.
