Great move... Trich is probably the most underrated player on the team. As Jeff said Tanny is still building what he wants despite the restrictions. I'd say it's arguable that the Jets are much better today then they were when the season ended. There are some that disagree but we have addressed CB, Safety and 3rd down back and managed to add a draft pick in the process.
Agree completely, that should be the next step. No reason we shouldn't be resigning Jay when he's so key to the team's success and there's no salary cap. Hope we bring back Douglas too.
Yeagh, I hope we re-sign Feely, too. I bet that if we do, Feely will probably lose to Folk before the season starts and get cut. Then Folk is going to have another meltdown against the Dolphins or something. Then we're all going to be pissed off because Feely got signed by another team and is 100% on his FGs. Then he goes to the Pro Bowl. SOJ I say, SOJ!!! BTW Folk was born in Hollywood, which means that he's probably a terrible tackler. Ginn will return 2 more TDs against us! SOJ!!! :wink:
Love Feely and his heart, but because he overpursued on those two kick off returns, they resulted in missed tackles and he wasn't there to be the last line of defense..
