Why do you guys think B Edwards had such a hard time catching the ball last year? Do you think hell fix his ball dropping next year? I dont understand with all that talent he has that hes constantly dropping balls. The balls he dropped last year killed us.Also, do u believe if Edwards wasnt dropping the ball all the time that he wuld have equal talent/skill as brandon marshall? Also where do u believe Holmes anl Edwards stack up against da NFLs recievers in term of ranking them? Are cotchery an miles austin on da same talent level? I read in snother thread that someone believed dt was oone of our need but I think sione puoha did very well last year and that he is more than good enogh to backup jenkins.. what do u think?

I think we probably do need a DT because Pouha was like a 26 year old rookie, so he's already over 30. I think he's the same age as Jenkins, maybe older. Also, Ellis is no spring chicken. We know this team wants to dominate on defence and we know that the O and D lines will determine your success on either side of the ball, so taking a guy on the line (if we are convinced he can be a player in the league, and isn't just some workout warrior), is a good idea. I do not think we are in a position to take a DT or DL in the first round if it means stretching for a guy that might not be a legit first round pick. If there's not a guy like Odrick available, I think the Jets will take the best player on the board in the first or maybe even trade the pick.

As for Braylon....he is talented, but jsut being talented doesn't mean he'll have unreal hands. Some great WRs are horrible blockers, but they are still very talented. Braylon's letdown is that he drops the ball. Maybe it is his hands or maybe it is a concentration issue. Whatever the case, it stops him from being an upper echelon (like top 5) WR. Without the drops, I believe he'd be there....but he drops the ball, that's the reality, so saying what if is sort of pointless. Regardless, I think our main WR trio can definitely rank in the top 10 in the league with other teams, if you look at their 3 best WRs. Maybe higher, maybe even top 5.

Comparing Cotchery and Austin is a tough one, it's not really a necessary one either. Austin is becoming the main target at WR for the Cowboys, but Cotchery is likely to become our 3rd guy. Also, our offence is very different form Dallas', so comparing those 2 guys would be difficult because the opportunities they will be given are not going to be identical.

...and is it still cool to write da instead of the?

It is a rough rambling topic for sure, from WRs to DLs.

I mentioned Odrick because so many mocks have us taking him, but I think there's a chance we move up and try to get one of the DEs who can rush

The OP would be complete if it addressed our punter situation.

He was credited with 4 drops. You heard he dropped a lot of passes with the Browns, so you probably made a big deal out of every ball he didn't catch here. Unless Edwards played the whole season without dropping a pass, you were probably going to complain about it anyway.
Really? Did we lose a game because he dropped a pass?
I believe that even if u werent typing liek a moran u wuld have equal litracy/iQ as a bag of rocks.

    He had 9 catches of 20yards+, and 2 40yards+. 6 drops.

    836 yards(according to ProFootballFocus.com)

I think this offseason he will cure a majority of those dropped passes(Bills game, and that Bengal Wildcard game)
(nfl.com doesn't count his 20+, and 40+ catches in playoffs)

He was brought into this team on a Wednesday I believe, and had to play the next Monday. Judging by his first game we all thought he was going to do that every game. Retard Adam Schein says he has an amazing season every 3 years.. so he is due heh.

Why can you never type "the" instead of "da"? Seriously, it makes you look like an idiot.

I didn't know you were the "Moderator" on this site? If people have opinions, let them be. isn't that what this site is for?

I don't think he is attacking the opinion as much as the recklessness with which it was written. If the guy cared to make a point for people to be able to read, understand, and discuss, he could have taken the time to write it clearly. This was more of a word vomit.

There's a lot of "if's" in every game.

He caught 5 for 105 and a TD in that game already.

    Feely also missed 2 FG's.

IF he makes those we win.
