Does anyone know if Rich Cimini is still with The Daily News?

That's allright. We now have Manish Mehta writing for the Star-Ledger.

Because nobody reads newspapers any more and all the quality writers are heading for better jobs that are internet related. Newsapers are not on solid financial ground.

I understand the economics of the newspaper business. I just wanted to know why he wasn't the beat writer and still works for the paper.

I thought this thread was going to be about Harris putting Cimini into a coma. Needless to say, I'm disappointed.

 Good one! I think I'd actually pay the fifty cents (or however much print newspapers cost these days as I haven't bought one in years) to see that! Though the thread title does say "Jets" (plural) so I guess we'd have to add in say, Bart Scott and Big Jenks in to the beatdown mix

Harris and Jenkins beat him severely while Bart Scott finishes off the job by yelling him into a coma.
