    LOL-

So 70 yards is a bad game??

If someone luckily got that on Revis this place would swarming with PhinFans gloating about how Revis got burned.

The TD grab was on him, so by your calculations that is getting burned.

Mind you, this was his first game as a Jet too with a rookie QB throwing to him. Imagine how better they will be together this year? Or is that asking too much?

God I love that Dolphins fans are in such serious denial. SUCH serious denial. So what about the division winners we beat three times in a row? Bengals twice, once on the road. Chargers on the road. Then the Colts on the road for three quarters. None of them laid down in any of those games.

And you could have very easily been in the playoffs. All you had to do was beat a combination the lowly Bills, the lowly Titans, the already-eliminated Steelers and the Texans. But you couldn't do that, could you?

Typically bullshit excuse to being an inferior team. Also, we know how the Dolphins do in the playoffs. You guys played really well against the Ravens in the Wildcard round of the 08/09 season, I forgot.

Hey sancize prime.....if you want to go that route...... how many yards and TD's did the lowly Ginn have on your man Revis?

alright fair enough. If Marshall puts up a line resembling 64 rec, 1,104 yards 16 TD line this season, I'll be sure to remind myself that it was just an "Eh..." year

    LOL-

Not that is again, Kerry blew that one.

No CB on your team can even be mentioned in the same breath as Revis.

Just take the Texans for example he had according to your fans a bad day catching 71 yards and a TD.

    Against us 4 catches for 35, 0 TD's.

The list goes on and on and on.

think you should probably get your facts strait. Just the one TD was 55 yards. And 2 kicks returned for TD's..... in one game? COme on man..... Ginn? Such a "great" team should NEVER let Ginn take them to school.

I'll give you the first matchup and the fact that his 5 rec, 64yd, 1TD performance didn't fully come against Sean Smith. But you had to figure at one point, Sporano must've thought Sean Smith was the best option to shut Edwards down during the course of that 1st matchup. So you would think that surely, by the 2nd meeting (3 weeks later) Sean Smith would completely shutdown Edwards, right? Since he's their best option at shutting him down. Instead, Edwards posts 4 recs, 74yd, and 1TD game. If BE can do that with 4 weeks of knowledge of the offense against the best shutdown corner the Dolphins got...then I like where this trend is going.

We need to get our facts straight? WHen you are saying that he had a 55 yard td and 2 kick return td's in one game? Do you even watch games or what? Cuz if you did you would know that they happened in 2 different games.

what new banner? it's common sense, our fuys talk trash so we can' whine when others do it to us.

Smith obviously didn't win any battles w/ Edwards, that's not the point. Too many guys are getting upset b/c someone talked trash about one of our guys- who cares?

again if you prorate those #s for 16 games he'd have 72 recs, 1104 yds and 16 TDs

junc, I think you are missing the point. Smith's trash talk consisted of flat out lying about something that already happened. It would be like Rex Ryan this offseason saying the Jets shut down Peyton Manning in the playoffs. Or like Cromartie saying he shut down Shonn Greene in the playoff game. Smith didn't beat Edwards at all, which is what he's saying.

Had Smith said the Dolphins are going to shut the Jets out next year, or win the division, or that Edwards would go catchless or something like that NEXT year.. in games that haven't been played already, sure we'd say he's insane and unrealistic, but the backlash wouldn't be near as severe as it is about this. Because his trash talk is changing history on something that ALREADY happened.. and happened in a much different way than he remembers.

Hey just think if you hadn't choked against the Saints and the Colts maybe you could have been in the playoffs too...

Or if the great Mr Henne hadn't thrown all those interceptions in the last 3 games (all losses) of the season?

He's one of the guys on the Dolphins who was amongst the worst cornerbacks in the NFL last year statistically, but is apparently some sort of superstar according to Dolphins fans. You should look for him next year, he'll be the guy getting beat by Braylon Edwards.
