I'm behind him 100% and deserves a fat contract... all that said though, I liked Revis better when he was more humble. Or maybe he never was... he just didn't have a lot of mics in his face letting him talk. EDIT: Ok, I watched the clip now... I think he still sounds pretty grounded. The whole "best in sports" thing kinda threw me...if you are great... you really don't have to talk about it. Kid has some swagger tho, and that is good.

Without a CBA the Jets can't give him a long term contract, who knows what the rules will be. Without a salary cap, I would give him 20 million for one year guaranteed and tell him see you in TWO years. Fair for both sides.

The reason why he's calling himself that is because ESPN has named him the "Top Defensive Player of All of Team Sports" That's why he's having that photo-shoot at the Stadium. It wasn't him calling himself that. He's promoting the magazine and the main article.

I don't know why you're so against paying Revis. I definitely don't think he should make 20 million a season, but c'mon man...he's the best player at his position and it'll probably stay that way for a while.
