Hey, I love Revis, and I'm all for paying the man some big bucks.

That said, from what I'm hearing and reading here and there....Holmes is beating Revis pretty often in camp........

I can't remember reading anything to that effect at all. Do you have any links?

Either way, OTA's without pads or contact means exactly jack squat. Let's see how things play out in camp.

Exactly, even if it were true no pads/contact completely takes away what Revis does best.

I'm sure they're not looking to get injured either....

I love it. Last season this site had a long running thread dedicated to the "Church of Revis Christ," but when the guy compliments himself all of the sudden everyone around here thinks he needs to stay ground.

    Right.

It's that or the fact that he wants a absurd amount of money. One or the other, I'd go with the other-

    This is a non-story.

Go back to not caring and waiting for August.

The thread is still around, and you make a great point.

We "worship" the man, but when he wants his just due some fans turn on him.

I believe the term that describes that logic is - fucking retarded.

It happens whenever any player wants to get paid. People get personally offended when a player in a multi multi billion dollar industry wants to get paid for their skill.

13.5 mil a year with a third of the guaranteed money in the first two years. then lets call it an offseason.

I'll wait till I hear he turns down a deal to that tune before I get my pitchfork.

The reason why I'm not too crazy about Revis becoming this NFL media superstar is that it just doesn't seem like him at all. From what I can tell this fame is getting to his head a bit. His first 2 years and the majority of last year the guy barely spoke, he let his play do the talking. Now he's working with the OCNN, doing tons of interviews, proclaiming himself the best... I don't know, hopefully he keeps that work ethic.

I don't think it's retarded to worship him but at the same time draw a line in the sand on how much he's worth... EVERY player has a max value, even guys like Payton Manning or Revis Christ.

It's fine they want to get paid, it's HOW MUCH they want that sounds crazy... that said I don't think anyone feels personally insulted.
