This whole Giants talking shit thing is confusing to me. I don't remember the Jets saying anything about the Giants. I also don't remember them saying they're "taking over NY". The Giants players sound like a bunch of insecure bitches. I mean, I understand the Jets talk a lot, but they pretty much just pump themselves up.

Yes, it is a golf term as in to loft the ball in making an approach. I wrote that it is a golf term. I did not write that the playing surface in golf is called a pitch.
