Shaun Ellis got arrested on multiple charges, including possession, speeding and driving without insurance, and he was uncooperative with the police. That probably had something to do with the suspension.
regardless of the idiocy that Ellis displayed that day, Maulaga should be suspended. A DUI is a DUI, its stupid, uncalled for and should be showed much less leiniancy in the real world that it does.

He knew the only way to avoid suspension is by doing that. He should have been suspended at least 2 games. Goodell trys to hold the NFL to higher standards and gets after the players for evey little thing including TD celebrations. He killed a guy who was jaywalking. Sure, Donte was drunk, but that dude is alive if he doesn't try and cross 6 lanes of traffic at rush hour. If Stallworth didn't kill him, someone else would've. I'm not defending Stallworth, but he was driving 50 in a 40, not erratically, and it's not like you can stop short in traffic.
