Patriots game last year was insane, this year fans seemed to be cheering just as much but without the noise level.

I think the size of the stadium does not bode well for the acoustics. The new place just doesn't seem as loud.

I agree 100%. Seemed to me that people were yelling just as much at this years pats game as last year (around me at least), but it was noticeably quieter. The new place is just too wide.

The loudest game o have ever been to was a Sunday night game for Pitt at Bal the year after Bal won the SB. That stadium only hold about 60k and is built very steep, seems like the best way to keep the noise in.

And Woody said the way the stadium was built, there is supposed to be a wall of noise.. But yea i was at both Pats games, last year and this year, and this year, people were the same craziness, but it didn't feel as loud.

So what's going to happen to those who show up in a Favre NY Jets jersey??

Is this acceptable or should there be some sort of punishment?

I think the new place, I can only speak for the Upper deck, is much louder then the old place. Not even close. And the architects said the place was designed to be louder and they are right. The first 2 games the crowd we into as much as any Jet games I have even been to and this is my 30th year. The place feels like our place, love it, finally, homefield advantage.

It should be acceptable, since he'll be completing at least a few balls to our team.

Just the fact they're openly admitting they were dumb enough to buy the jersey is punishment enough.

Gah! U beat me to it, fucker.

I think this crowd should be louder than any of the previous games, because we've simply lost ALL our Monday Night games since Rex has been HC.

Just for that, we should be going crazier.

Anyone who still wears a #4 Favre jersey deserves anything headed their way. I hate seeing that at the stadium! If you own one, throw it away.
