In the post game interview Sanchez took the blame for the loss, which was bullshit. The kid had a good game. He was 15/37 with 7 drops. He had two INTs which were both bullshit. They were completed passed that defenders stole from the receivers. If his receivers catch the balls and hold them, he is 25/37, with more yards and probably at least one touchdown. Those drops and INTs cost us at least 10 pts.

No, no he didn't. The receivers were awful but so was Nacho. He's going to have bad games this year, it's only his 2nd year.

It wasn't as bad as the #s but he didn't have a good game. If you lead your O to no points it's impossible to have a good game.

He didn't have a good game but there's blame all around him as well. The entire offense, players and coaches, sucked yesterday.

I thought he played much better in the second half.

This.....This does not rest on any one particular player or coach, the offense got what they deserved, a big zero.

He had the best game of anyone on offense because he actually made a play down the stretch. If anyone else had found a way to make a play like he did the Jets might have managed to pull that one out. It's hard for the QB to look good when he isn't getting any help.

It is impossible to lead your team to points if you put your balls on the money the the receivers a. don't catch them b. give the balls to the defenders.

Say what you want about the kid but there's no doubt he's got broad enough shoulders and thick enough skin to handle the blame.

I don't think he deserves it for this one, certainly not all of it. And I'm sure he knows that too.

But he'll take it anyway. Because he can.

Yes. He actually became (IMVHO) the leader of the team by taking that bullet.

His placement was a little spotty, but...in the NFL those balls need to be caught.

His biggest mistake was missing Edwards with the entire field open in front of him.

If by good game you really meant he didn't, then yeah I agree.

The loss wasn't all Sanchez's fault, but since he's the field general and our offense put up no points you have to give him some of the blame.

Sanchez did not have a 'good game'. It wasn't as bad as stats show (dropped passes and 2 bs ints) but he did not look comfortable. He is streaky right now. I think he is over his rookie season deer in the headlights playing - but after looking pretty good early in the season, he looks unsure of himself and doesn't throw the ball with any authority or confidence. After a week off, I was very disappointed with Shotty and the offense. Defense looked solid. Lets go win 2 on the road.

I don't know why but I think the coaches are over-coaching him.

They are in his ear too much, trying to invade his thought process while in the pocket.

When he has great game you can see how relaxed and confident he is. I don't know what happens on the sideline after our first 3 and out, but they need to just let him play. Obviously this is just speculation but it's fairly obvious when we have a bad series Mark comes out and does look like he's over-thinking.

I loved that roll-out and pass to Keller btw, just saying.

Speaking of Keller, why they hell is being taken out of the gameplan. He started off huge and his role is diminishing. They need to get him the ball that forces our oppenent to roll coverage in his direction opening up Braylon or whoever.

Maybe it's the fact that we have too many weapons for Sanchez right now. Sounds stupid but I can picture Holmes, Edwards, and Keller all coming back to the huddle saying hey I was wide open, or something like that.

They don't want to hear this^.

You would think that erudite football fans would pause at least for a second and think that 4 TD's in 3 games (3 of them rushing) against mediocre defenses is cause for some concern, and be willing to discuss ways it mght get fixed.

He had an absolutely horrible game. Drops made it worse.

He locked onto Holmes like he was the only receiver at the beginning and Cotchery afterward.

I don't know if it is him or BS but probably both. At best BS isn't helping him move forward.

It is almost as though he has made the best matchup decision before the play begins and goes there. I don't know if this is more him or more BS but it is killing us.

With our players you can't go with matchups, our guys matchup with anyone, you have to go to the open man.

Drops and calls were horrible but we lost this game because of play calling and missed open receivers, period.

He hasn't seemed too comfortable in the pocket the last 2 games but no doubt he wasn't as bad as the stats would say.
Horrific officiating with the Keller/Cotch calls even though we pretty much shot ourselves in the foot offensively every chance we got.
