Revis is back in his game, he'll make Andre Johnson disappear like he made Megatron disappear this season...or like he made Andre Johnson disappear last season.
Texans defense basically allows every team a 30 point game. They are last in the league in pass defense with 300 ypg against avg and 15 in rush defense with 105ypg - that is only that low because teams are throwing for so many yards. This game should be one where the Jets can score some points, control the clock, and hopefully build a lead. The Jets need to get control of the TEs because the Texans do use them in their passing game and Watson was making our safeties his bitch yesterday.
Watson was leading the Browns in receiving going into yesterdays game, he's there number 1 option. It's not an ongoing issue, just sporadic.
Next week is Houston playing for it's season. If they lose, they are completely out of it. They need a win to keep their seasons hopes alive. So once again, we are going to get this teams best effort, and will be getting everything that houston has. expect some more trickeration and unexpected fakes to try and win a game for Houston that they probably shouldnt.
Stadium will be rocking, hopefully it's a little cold too. Jets should run the ball and if Schotty calls bonehead plays, Mark should audible at the line. Smart plays at the right times only. No more pass plays on the 2 yard line after running the entire drive. I will be there loud as always!! Go Jets!!!!
Can't sleep on this Houston team. They're coming off a heart breaking loss and surely haven't forgotten week 1 of last season. Jets are a significantly better team but w/ Foster, Johnson and Super Mario, the texans can make a lot of big plays. I keep getting the sense that the Jets offense is a big play or 2 away from coming together and exploding. If Sanchez is well protected and Greene keeps playing like he has the past couple weeks...this could be the "put it all together" win we've been anticipating. Lord knows we fans need a break from the nail bite wins.
Houston's defense sucks, with Holmes improving each week and Schotty and Mark on the same page should be able to put up a lot of points. What I liked about the Browns game was targeting Keller 9 times, even though he only had 3 catches. The Browns were double covering Keller at times obviously leaving others open. This is exactly what I want to happen all year, teams either allow Keller to beat them, or they roll extra coverage leaving our other options to beat them. With them concentrating on Keller so much it's obvious that was the reason LT had his biggest receiving day so far.
Not the same team. Foster is a beast and Andre has another year of experience. Revis has been anything but a "shut down corner" this year. Johnson will get at least one TD.
I pray to the football gods it does. My son's baptism is at 1:15. Is it wrong that I'd rather watch the game?
Like us the Texans are missing several key guys and AJ has been hobbled by a bad ankle this season. So both teams are fighting injuries. Kevin Walter is a decnt guy with size, or in other words the type of receiver that Cro eats up. Thier line is not nearly as physical as Clevelands. Thier defense is just awful right now. There are so many ways they don't match up well against us its scary.
He also hasn't been healthy for most of the year. He's been healthy since the bye and has been lights out since...held Megatron to 1 catch
^^^^ Calvin Johnson is every bit as good as Andre. Plus he's taller automaticly making him the better Johnson. Yea, and the Johnson expirence thing is soooo weak. Johnson had 1500 yards and 15 td's last year, but got shut down by Revis. Both he and revis are not fully healthy, so thats a wash. I expect Revis to be on him all game and do just fine.
That's not true, the COLTS are in NE. If NE wins the COLTS are 6-4 & with Tennessee & Jax currently @ 5-4, the TEXANS can still win their division @ 9-7 or 10-6. Is it a long shot? Pfft..hell yeah but they aren't "completely out of it"
