Douchebags are making the stadium available to them this afternoon, so they can get here early and prepare for the cold weather.

What's the big deal? We're probably in our cozy indoor practice facility eating cheeseburgers missing field goals making 13 yard punts our qb is wearing a snuggie while eric smith tries to chase his own tail and i just heard word that our dline can't get pressure while being blocked by the ny jets flight crew. We're ready though. Superbowl!

 

That's pretty lame of the Giants to do, but it should give us more of a reason to destroy the Phins.

So just out of curiosity the Jets could theoretically do the same when the Saints or Falcons come to town should they meet in the playoffs?

We can let the, say, Eagles come in a few days early to practice if they wanted to, but it won't matter. Knowing us, the Giants will win commandingly while we squeak by with a win against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Having a warm weather team get a full 2 days in Jersey, in the stadium getting a feel for the temperature, winds, etc. is a BIG deal. Takes away some of the home field advantage. The Jets should definitely return the favor at some point down the road. Unfortunately this year the only home game the Giants have left is the Eagles, who play in similar conditions down the road in Philly and the Giants won't have any home playoff games.

Fuck the Giants.

I officially hate the Giants now because of this BS Stunt. This also is more evidence of the Giants jealousy of all of the publicity and coverage the Jets have been getting in NY since last January. Started with who would open the NMS, continued with Hard Knocks and now this.

 

It actually is an issue, giving a warm weather team 2 days to prepare for the Jets takes away some that cold weather advantage we have. Throw in that the Phins have never seen the stadium and can adjust accordinly to the wind conditions and possible angles of the sun and you essentially wipe out any advantage we had.
