ummm, reverse that thought some. the pats lost to the ravens last year in the playoff for the very first time. the pats are something like 9-1 or 9-2 against the ravens since 2000 or something along those lines. pats have upper hand against the ravens thru past history (including this year) now steelers and jets, past history doesn'r favor the jets for sure. fact is, jets are not playing their best ball and better start doing it in a hurry or things look bleak!
Hehehe Panic time in the Big Apple. No question. This is fun. Still with all the strutting that was going on here before the big game we could be a LOT worse, so give us some credit. Despite the Patriots playing real good football right now, the division title is far from locked up. I really don't know how good the Bears are and playing on a short week and after a fantastic game, it's hard to imagine there won't be some type of letdown. Green Bay is also a scary matchup for the Patriots. An accurate, experienced passing attack is not a good matchup, no matter how much the Patriots D has improved. That said, the Jets have to really take care of business too to have a chance. Miami really has nothing to play for and an upset might happen (although I honestly doubt it) There is Chicago who could be good and Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is a tough team and they play well in the 4th quarter like the Jets usually do.
Not panic time at all, we're still playoff bound. Some Jet "fans" are pathetic. I'll just leave it at that.
The Bears are on a 5 game streak and locked in a battle for the division with Green Bay. Every game for them is huge. I saw the Bears-Eagles game, the week that everyone was saying that Michael Vick and the Eagles were invincible. The Bears destroyed them. You'll probably hear the name Julius Peppers mentioned a lot. Vick took a lot of sacks and hits, but Brady is far more mobile so he should be fine.... And the turf in Chicago can be like a skating rink. Just wondering, who is the backup QB for the Pats?
This is a good point -- perhaps our best chance of winning the division now is if Brady gets hurt. I guess you're not supposed to wish that -- so I guess I'm a bad person.
The important thing to remember when laughing at the opposing teams fanbase is that the one's that have the hilarious opinions are usually idiots. I love to look at Finheaven after they lose because of all the panic threads but you start to see that there are always a few good posters telling everyone they are acting like idiots.
Brian Hoyer, 2nd year QB out of Michigan State. As a Spartan alum and fan, I can say that if Brady goes down I like our chances a lot! Hoyer was a pretty mediocre College QB.
Never know, Julius Peppers or Urlacher could put a hurting on Brady this weekend, lord knows someone needs to shut his mouth!!
I really don't want us to.win the division at this point. Not after watching how awful this team is with time in between games.
The extra days argument really is mind boggling. Its crazy how the team literally has scored 12 points in those 3 games.
Sure. Laugh at the idiots and argue/tussle with the good posters. It's fun to be in a forum of like minded fans but it's also real interesting to see your team from another perspective too. Plus Jets fans watch their team all the time and know both the Jets strengths and weaknesses. It's interesting. I have in-laws in New York and we visit them a lot and it's always interesting to hear the sports radio stations out of NY.
