we basically beat the steelers at home in 2007 when more then 70 percent of our stadium was filled with steeler fans, it was truly one of the best games i have ever been to even tho we were 2-8 after the win, it felt good to beat them.

Yeah, that game was fun. We were awful that year and the game was Thanksgiving weekend, so somehow that got a lot of Steeler fans into the joint. I still have my styrofoam Jets things from that one.

We beat them the last two times at home, the 2003 snow 6-3 game being the other, all our old, slow guys had a huge edge in that one.

Actually, Philly is every 8 years, but Pitt is every 6.

The Jets played at Philadelphia in 1973, 1977, 1978, and 2003.

Also, the Jets did win at Oakland prior to the 2001 game. They went 3-0 there from 1960-62, but of course were known as the Titans at that time. Then in 1966, they played the Raiders to a draw in Oakland.

    Other interesting ones-
Falcons never won at Colts (0-3 at Baltimore Colts, 0-3 at Indianapolis Colts)
Buccaneers never won in Buffalo (0-1)
Buccaneers never won at Jets (0-6)
Buccaneers never won at Raiders (0-4 at Oakland Raiders, 0-1 at L.A. Raiders)
Buccaneers never won in Pittsburgh (0-3)
Buccaneers never won at Oilers/Titans (0-4 at Houston Oilers, 0-2 at Tennessee Titans)
Lions never won in Miami (0-4)
Lions never won in San Diego (0-4)
Vikings never won at Colts (0-8 at Baltimore Colts, 0-2 at Indianapolis Colts)
Jaguars never won in New England (0-6)
Chiefs never won at Giants (0-6)
Vikings never won at Jets (0-5)
Patriots never won in Washington (0-2)

Redskins never lost at the Jets (4-0)
Chargers never lost at Tampa Bay (5-0)

The Jets have never won a December game in an even-numbered year with an Asian head coach.

So either the Chargers or Chiefs or even Oakland.... and the Colts look like the other team, and they'll be healthy! If not the Jaguars, and the Jets never beat them it seems.

    That is correct.

The Bengals are 0-3 at the Giants (all three games were at Giants Stadium).

The Bengals are 2-12 at the Jets (2-3 at Shea Stadium, 0-8 at Giants Stadium, 0-1 at New Meadowlands Stadium).

The Lions have won at the Redskins, but never at Washington.
The Detroit Lions beat the Boston Redskins 17-7 in Boston in 1935. Two years earlier, the Portsmouth Spartans (the original franchise name) beat the Redskins in Boston by a score of 13-0.

The Redskins moved to Washington in 1937. The Lions are 0-21 in Washington.

Good stuff, Cakes, thanks. Pretty much to my original point, most of those matchups you listed are ones that don't happen very often.

Also--I was thinking about this, not sure if this has ever happened before: in one calendar year, 2010, the Jets beat the Bengals in three different stadiums, Giants Stadium, Paul Brown Stadium (I think that's what it's called) and New Meadowlands Stadium.

If I'm not mistaken I think Denver and Seattle played five times in calendar 1983 but that's different, only two stadiums, Mile High and the Kingdome.

I remember almost nothing about the regular season game except Reggie Tounge chasing someone into the end zone at least once, maybe more. I think it was Jerome Bettis.

That's what they've been doing, champ. Rome wasn't built in a day and we still have New England in our division no matter what we do until Brady gets old enough to be bad.

    It was four times.

    Denver vs Seattle in 1983
    1/2/83- Denver 11 at Seattle 13
    11/6/83- Denver 19 at Seattle 27
    11/20/83- Seattle 27 at Denver 38
12/24/83- Denver 7 at Seattle 31 (playoff game)

As for beating a team in three different stadiums in one calendar year, it has happened a few times.
In addition to Jets over the Bengals three times in 2010-

    Packers over Colts in 1965
9/26- Packers 20-17 at Milwaukee County Stadium
12/12- Packers 42-27 at Memorial Stadium
12/26- Packers 13-10 Lambeau Field (playoff game)

    Cardinals over Packers in 1935
9/15- Cardinals 7-6 at City Stadium
10/13- Cardinals 3-0 at Wisconsin State Fair Park
11/28- Cardinals 9-7 at Comiskey Park

The Packers went 2-0-1 against the Cardinals in three different locations in 1936.
The Bears went 1-0-2 against the Spartans in three different locations in 1932.

Jets-Bengals in 2010, Packers-Colts in 1965, and Cardinals-Packers in 1935 are the three instances (of which I am aware) of a team going 3-0 in three different stadiums against the same opponent in a calendar year.

Miami is 0-3 at the Houston Texans. They are 0-2 vs the Texans when playing in Miami.

Now, as for playing in Houston in general, the Dolphins are 7-9 there (6-6 vs Oilers, 1-0 vs Vikings, 0-3 vs Texans).

(The list I posted last night was not complete in any way.)
