You do realize our Defense and running game is the reason we will win not our Qb right? There are fifteen other Qb's who could win the Sb with our team easily.
Uh did our Qb do something special to win yesterday or did he miss four passes that would have gone for Touchdowns? Our Defense and Running game won for us? Period end of story.
You mean aside from taking us right down the field for the game winning FG with 53 seconds to work with?
He missed some passes, four passes for touchdowns? I guess that probably depends on who is counting and how big their bias is. I won't claim to know that number is right or wrong since I can't go back and watch myself. He still has a long way to go to get to where we all want him to be. As far as doing something special, yeah he did. You know that field goal that won the game? It would have been about 50 yards instead of 30 of Sanchez doesn't put a ball right on the money on the previous play.
That's nothing, he had two timeouts. I'd like to see him needing a TD with :40 left and NO timeouts. Oh, wait.....
Ok here we go. Definites BRADY BREES ROGERS VICK BIG BEN FLACCO SCHAUB MANNING-P MATT RYAN DREW BREES JAY CUTLER PROBABLES IF GIVEN SANCHEZ SUPPORTING CAST MCNABB ELI FARVE IF HEALTHY PALMER-IF COACHED BRADFORD-IN DUE TIME. FREEMAN-SHOULD BE OUR QB HASSLEBACK-COULD DO IT WITH OUR TEAM PUNCHERS CHANCE WITH OUR TEAM CHAD-YEA I SAID IT CHAD
Cromartie took us down the field and he saw man coverage on a six four reciever and threw it up and he made a play for him. Spare me please.
Yea it's just so easy to drive your team for the winning score with under a minute to go on the road in the playoffs. No pressure. How about going 9 for 11 in the second half while our offense dominated effectively holding Peyton Manning to 2 second half possessions? Does he get any credit for that or was it just as easy as the final game winning drive? Maybe easier?
I cant remember the last time I've seen a young QB as clutch as this. I have two questions for the people who may know the answers... 1)Can someone find me a QB, during his first two years in the league, with more than 21 wins? Thats including 3 road playoff wins (didn't list the Bucs game he sat out last year, or the 1 drive during the Bills this year.) 2) Also, when was the last time, a QB as young as Sanchez; led his team to 5 come from behind / game winning drives during either the 4th quarter or overtime? Denver: The deep bomb to Santonio Holmes which caused the defensive PI call. Texans: One of the quickest, most impressive game winning drives I've ever seen. Lions: Slant to Santonio Holmes. Browns: Slant to Santonio Holmes. Colts: Beat Peyton Manning and the Colts with a game winning drive, on the road, with the pressure of the playoffs on his back... and did it in stride. Simply amazing.
I don't think so, the defense has won all of those games, no really, D. Revis literally snapped the ball and threw it to Edwards on Saturday. Cromarties also secretly been playing QB during all of those other comebacks. Except for the losses, those were all played by Sanchez.
Jay Cutler being a definite proves how much of a joke your bias is against Sanchez. Why don't you give this up, because while sanchez's numbers aren't amazing, his resolve is embarrassing you.
The go to argument of the blind and clueless. What is the comparison between Dilfer and Sanchez anyway?
I guess that leaves out the part where Sanchez is still developing while Dilfer was just backup that had a nice run one year.
Roethlisberger 04/05 I'm the type who likes to look for omens. What I really like is the similarities with Jets now and Pittsburgh in 04/05 and if the Big Ben/Sanchize thing carries on then we win the SB. New QB makes it play offs one year/ Superbowl the next. Both Ben and Sanchez beat New England on their first meeting Roethlisberger had three road wins by the end of his 2nd season (Sanchez may actually have 5 by the end of this!) but had amassed more than 21 wins (don't know the figure but Pitts went 15-1 in his first years and did pretty well 2nd year) The whole clutch thing is what convinces me that Sanchez will be a decent QB for us. Doing it when it matters is ALL that matters....and he does it.
........................wow. okay fine I'll play along a little. Those two QBs didn't have to do anything heroic for an entire season to keep their team from falling into mediocrity. You're argument has just crashed into a mountain. Everyone is dead.
