I'd rather see Sanchez developing with Crotch, Holmes and Edwards than bring in another new star receiver.

I don't want to think about another WR until we lose Holmes or Edwards. I'm luke-warm on Mike Sims-Walker as it is. Especially when Sidney Rice is likely to be available for negotiations.

When did Mike Sims-Walker become a star receiver?

Yahoo butchered his stats by 7 TDs and about 50+ first downs.

I'm surprised, he was pretty much the #1 WR on the Jags, although that doesn't mean much with Lewis, MJD, and Thomas on the team.

    Washington or Patriots IMO...

Sims-Walker had a great game against the Jets a couple years ago.

Most fans perspective on a player is of the one time they see them when it is against their team...

Beating the shit out of Lito doesn't make anyone a star.

I would like to state, again, what the hell was rex thinking putting Revis on Torry Holt while Mike Simms walker, went unchecked by lito? It shouldnt have taken a full half to realize we needed to cover walker, and tackle MJD..

True story bro, its like that fat mother fucker knows absolutely nothing about scheming a defense based on one game over the past two seasons in which his team was a game away from the superbowl twice.

Sims-Walker would be a great addition. He was used more of a distraction on the Jags then as a go to guy. He has the skill set, and should come relatively cheap.

I am all for it, that is after we have to trade or let one of our top 2 WR's.

Would I prefer to keep the guys we have? Yup

Would I be happy if we got Sims-Walker at a reasonable price to replace Edwards? sure...

Am I tired of all the sign these guys thread? YEAH!!!

I'm sorry, but I strongly disagree that MSW could be considered a "great" addition. It goes without saying that he is a downgrade from Braylon and Santonio, but he is just severely overrated. The man is inconsistent and disappears frequently, even though he was targeted quite a bit by Garrard last season.

Not only that, but he was relegated to legit #1 receiver status -- mostly by the first half of last season and because he played for the receiver-light Jaguars -- so I doubt he would come cheaply. And nobody wants to overpay a receiver with a history of knee issues.

I can vouch for that. He was on my fantasy team.

Haha me too. I didn't start him either of the two games he went off.

My sour opinion also has to do with my friend who's a die-hard Jags fan constantly complaining about MSW being invisible. Something like 12 targets and 2 catches for 11 yards. Not okay.
