hate to say it but the wildcat worked in our favor because of smith. not to mention how many big plays weve broken out of it. if hes gone kerley seems to be the candidate for that.
This is the truth of the matter. I don't know why anybody (not you) would be happy that Brad Smith is going to be gone. He did a lot of great things here.. but the money it will take to bring him back will be more than he is worth to the Jets, especially with all the other free agents.
That last bullet point is exactly why I'm one of Sanchez's biggest supporters in the entire fanbase. This kid is fucking special. There better be a full TC and football this season. His breakout year is here, and he's going to punish teams. Good to hear Kerley is already impressing people.
Manish Mehta getting, deservedly, the props on another great article. Someone at ESPN needs to send Cimini away.
Its simple to Avoid Cimini now. Just never go to ESPN for any of your sport news. I haven't used ESPN for my sports news in 2 years, and I find myself less aggravated.
Agreed. Do they even have articles that us regular people can read anymore? Everything seems to be behind the "insider" pay-wall.
Quoting mick to support this. I stopped checking anything on ESPN the day they hired Cimini. The guy is a hack that is about as anti-Jets as they come. to make him our beat guy for ESPN is a joke. the article in the OP is a great read. I wish this lockout mess would go away so we can sign Edwards and our draft picks ASAP.
Manesh..... Dustin Keller looks bulked up and ready to block more Cimini.... Dustin Keller looks F A T That's all you need to know right there about a glass half full or half empty.... I'm surprised Jet players talk to Cimini.
He didn't want to come home purple. This is the exact reason why I love Sanchez and why there NEEDS to be a season. I love the fact that Keller bulked up too, maybe now he'll try and run people down instead of his patented jump/dive move, good for blocking too. It would be sad to see Brad Smith go, another fan favorite but if Kerley can do what Brad does for half the money then so be it.
It is what it is ... but losing Smith will be a tremendous loss for us. In my opinion he was in our top 3 for MVP of the team last year. But if it means we get to keep both Braylon and Holmes, I'll live with it. Honestly, I would have been happy to keep all three and let David Harris walk.
