Wow... first lock-out casualty? At least it's happened to someone who's made lot's of money already so I don't feel that sorry for him.

He could potentially sign with a team halfway through the season who needs another weapon.

    that sucks.

if we lost braylon, and had to choose between T.O, Moss, or Plex, I would of went with T.O.

I'd choose McKnight, Kerley or Turner over T.O.

He got in Garcia's head. He got in McNabb's head. He got in Romo's head. He got in Palmer's head. I don't want him anywhere near Mark Sanchez's psyche.

That's ignorance. TO was barely worth having on your team when he was arguably the best WR in the NFL. Now, he's washed up... on top of being a locker room cancer. Good riddance.

locker room cancer my ass. not in the jets locker room. this dude is washed up for his standards, but look what he has done the past 2 years.

I wanna see him act like an asshole at the end of his career, when he will love Rex, and all he has left to do is win a Superbowl.

Not sure if T.O. would act like a douche bag infront of Nick Mangold, Bart Scott, Rex, LT. A lot of that locker room cancer is pussy shit.

I'm not lobbying for this guy. Would rather have him over Moss/Plax.

I wouldn't mind bringing in TO at the end of the season as we make a playoff push.

Yes. This, this and thrice this. TO might be a great asset who comes in and works with the team, who doesn't cause problems in the locker room, and who makes the extra little bit of difference that pushes the team to a Super Bowl - but I wouldn't bet pocket change on it, much less an NFL season. Too little upside to make up for his track record of being an absolute cunt.

Every locker room is full of big tough guys loyal to their quarterback, it hasn't stopped Owens before and I doubt it would at the Jets. There will be better options available - if we need to sign a veteran wideout then I'd look at Chad Jackson first. He may not have TO's hands but he doesn't have TO's shithouse attitude either.

well TO drops an incredible amount of balls... I think the better comparison might be to their physical athleticism.

no denying T.O. has been an asshole in the locker room, but at his age now, i cannot see him being as big of a douche bag.

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that TO is any less of an arsehole than he has always been. It is possible that he has changed but the odds are heavily against.
