Since things seems to be positive on the labor stuff, thought I start some jibber jabber regarding where people think certain free agents might be headed. Not just the Jets. Plus I needed an excuse to revive the term "jibber jabber".

I'll start with predicting Nnamdi will be headed to the Texans.

Also, should the Jets not be able to keep Braylon, I predict he'll be in Chicago.

Free agency is going to be crazy as hell.

Matt Leinart to the Seahawks, reuniting him with Pete Carroll.

Hope the Jets can resign Braylon, but if I had to predict I could definitely see him going to the Bears, Skins, or Bucs and the Jets signing Moss, Burress, or Ochocinco to replace him.

I hope not. I hope Bush stays in the NFC.

Honestly I don't see that happening. Carroll doesn't seem to care much about reuniting with his college players, which is why they traded for Leon Washington instead of drafting Joe McKnight.

Also the Seahawks are heavily invested in backup QB Charlie Whitehurst. They signed him to a 2 year $8 million contract and spent 3rd round pick to get him. Jesus! Someone must have a ton of faith in that guy to pay that much for a backup.

I don't think anyone is going to bite on Leinart, honestly. The guy has had plenty of opportunities to prove himself, and he keeps on proving that he sucks. He'll spend the rest of his career as a 3rd stringer.

Marc Bulger or Vince Young could end up in Miami. Neither would make me happy.

    All good points...

I'm trying to think of the team that seems to have the worst judgment of QBs, lol...

Vince Young is not someone to be worried about. He is a good athlete, but never proved to be a good passer.

Dude, Vince Young is not a NFL QB.

You should pray he goes there.

The one thing he can't handle is picking up a Rex Ryan defense.

I don't think we get Brad, we already have a log jam at wr after drafting edmond gates. Would have been an interesting addition though

    That's all very realiatic.

If Braylon leaves, I'll throw in Malcolm Floyd as a wildcard replacement. I wouldn't be shocked to see Plaxico either. He's the same age as Randy Moss. He was never a speed guy anyway, so as long as he can still run routes and catch the ball, we'd have a premiere red zone target. Just throw it up in the endzone and there's a good chance he'll come down with it.

Plaxico did an interview on Sirius NFL radio last week. Said he was doing nothing but running and lifting weights in prison. He sounded like he was really hungry to get back on the field and prove himself. He said that he was never a 4.4 40 guy, but last time he checked he was still 6'5" and wasn't afraid to go across the middle.

Of course, I didn't expect him to say he was eating Cheetos and masturbating all day in prison either, so it may just be him blowing smoke.

McNabb, Sims-Walker, and Bush to the Dolphags.
Jets retain Braylon and sign Lance Moore and Josh Wilson.

Can someone set up a Vbookie thread for who wins the Aso sweepstakes?

These were the odds back in January:

Hardly relevant after the cap floor institution, but if anyone can find a current one I'm sure Tampa and Houston are around 3-1.

I heard the Ravens really want Josh Wilson back. Chris Carr and Fabian Washington will be the CBs that Baltimore lets walk.

I don't want Lance Moore. Good 2nd and 3rd options on elite passing offenses rarely work out when they switch to a lesser passing attack.

Id like Chris Carr out of those two, my glimmer of hope is that Wilson falls in love with the Jets program and being able to be along side Revis is unlike any other opportunity.

But Im fine with a Wilson vs Wilson/Carr training camp for the #2 spot.

I just think Moore would come cheap and as a #3 or #4 Option Id be very pleased with him. If not Id be completely happy with signing a guy like James Jones, his hands are inconsistent but the kid has shown flashes of potentially being a great WR. At 4 or 5 mil as a replacement for Holmes or Edwards Id be happy.
