then what? is there a chance to resign cro? does edwards become a priority.... just trying to brace for the disappointment.
Fabian Washington/Drayton Florence, Braylon Edwards, and Antwan Barnes would be the sensible targets. I think Cro is history. If they can't land Aso, they'll put that cash towards Braylon.
Shitty. He would've been a good fit, cheap contract too from the reports. But you can't have them all.
Could restructure Sanchez contract so he gets paid completely now which would open a lot of cap room for the future.
I am baffled at how few of us ask for the Jets to go get a LEGIT pass rusher 2nd on my list is for more athletic/younger LB's
Florence also gone. CB definitely a bigger priority than Edwards. If they can't land Aso, Cro and others will be contacted for obviously lesser contract offers than they giving Aso.
1A) Aso 1B) Cro If we fail to get either or... Our secondary has taken a step back. If we fail to sign Aso... It's a must we bring back Cromartie.
If we dont get Aso thatll obviously be a massive letdown. But I think the top priority has to become Edwards then getting a talented safety. After that Dline depth + our new nickle corner should be their top priority. OLB will not be addressed this off-season and should be the priority for next years draft/fa
They would try to work a deal with Cro, but its not imperative he come back. He's not worth 10mil per. But i do agree with you that CB will remain the priority, and there are some decent options out there.
Next year is the offseason we go after our franchise pass rusher from the outside. His name is Mario Williams from the Texans. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but could you imagine a defense featuring stars such as Revis, Aso, Harris and Williams? With Rex Ryan running the show; forget about it.
