Yes we need this tight end. He would help us tremendously. Sign him please. He is a big splash guy like the Jets like. Opps - I guess he was picked up last night by Rex Ryan not today. All this according to Manish Mehta.

This wouldn't be like new england. Thats untrue. Heap is old.

This would be the #2 TE in case Keller went down and he's still a decent pass catching option unlike mulligan and hartsock.

He is the dynamic player bs once was but he can still get the job done

heap is solid. we will definately get more 2 te sets next year if true, but it wont be like in NE. Zach miller would make me think we were trying to do that...

Cumberland will line up at WR at times this season with Heap and Keller in 2TE sets. While everyone is thinking run we sneak Cumberland down the seam for a TD. Championship!

Zach Miller wouldve been alot better but considering Heaps name was the one who put the pickup a TE idea in my head ill have to settle for this.

I like this, if we bring a either Floyd or Edwards. Having Holmes, Edwards (or Floyd), Cotchery, Keller and Heap makes for a very nice set of weapons for Sanchez.

Well we might not have a 2nd WR, any sort of known pass rush, no 2nd CB and we still need help covering the middle of the field... but we're gonna have some two TE sets!

I don't hate it---but Heap has been nicked up alot the past 2 years, I would rather have Zach Miller but as I said I don't hate this move

Exactly. Everyone acts like these guys are not on the roster.

i dig this move, it would be nice to have a legit receiving option at the 2nd te position

but we've been running a ton of two te sets for the past two years, if anything the pats took a page out of our book

Someone missed the keyword "proven" which Wilkerson, Ellis and Wilson are not. And Cotchery is a slot receiver, relax.

    1) You can't have a "proven" players at every position in the NFL

    2) Cotchery is a legit #2 WR
